hey mate about that black sportivo... wat springs are in it looks very good
  3. these vvtl-i controllers??? wher bouts can i locate one of these
  4. about that problem where you cant read the posts all at once... its happened to me a few times... go to the top of the forum page where it says the topic.. look all the way to the right and it should say option... click it and go down to display modes and click (standard) fixes the problem mate
  5. stay the ***** out of it tayles whos talking to you lil puppet im assuming your gay micky tee because who brang dicks into the convo... enough talk over the internet mate you wanna be a sick ***** lets do it in person!! or otherwise zip it ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- consider this your second warning - quit the sh*t or u wont be posting anymore
  6. wrong again... "dogbox" is a nick name for a straight cut gearbox buddy.. n like i said you mind your own business mate... your such a hero on this forum in front of everyone... lets see what your like in person
  7. piggy back computers will work and will probably be best if you are not planning to mod your car alot... other wise a full ecu will be best
  8. as i said before micky tee... straight cut gearboxes have nothing to do with the shifting pattern... it is how the gears inside the gearbox are cut!! i can 150% guarentee you that v8 supercars use straight cut gearboxes. my bad for insulting you but every time i say something you want to be a smart as-s back to me so obviously im gonna get ****** off at you... my solution is mind your own business and ill mind mine.. oh and unless you are 100% sure about something dont say it.. btw what is +10%
  9. sorry bout the name ...i could of sworn that was it.. anyways thatheel-toe thing is not what im talking about thats why i said to the NEXT gear meaning up gearing n not PREVIOUS gear.. ill try n find an example of what im talking bout
  10. no i dnt believe it has 1200 nm in fourth gear on the dyno... do you agree with me that fourth gear is a true reading of the engines power to the wheels as it is a 1-1 ratio and hence y dyno runs are done in 4th gear as all the lower gears 1-2-3 have torque multiplication as the output gear is bigger than the input gear ...so if the torque wasnt measured in 4th gear the reading would not be correct like this example of 1200nm and of course dyno's are not completely correct everybody knows that.. there are many variables for example temperatures tyre pressures and oils are just some of them.
  11. exactly right there xoom... there is nothing wrong with the gearboxes as you can see xoom has close to 200kw going through his box.. thats almost doubl what you guys are makin and he still hasnt had problems with his box.. it goes to show that it depends 100% on the driver..
  12. and wat shaokook said is right. there is no need to use the trucker style double clutching anymore these days butpeople use it in around tracks as it is easier on the syncros and when you double clutch to down gear it doesnt pull the car back no were near as much.. and the race method i refer too has a street name of double clutching... it is not slipping the clutch but rather like a rev dump to the next gear...once you have the hang of it it is actually really quick....defiantely superior to "granny shifting" or watever the other normal style is called
  13. mate once again you are talking crap... v8 supercars defianatly have strate cut gearboxes...the normal style gearboxes would defiantely not hold 650+hp... yur an idiot its got nothing to do with the pattern of shifting, but rather the way the actual gears in the gearbox are cut hence the name straight cut gearbox... and what makes you so think you know everything... i define a gronk as a straight up diick
  14. who told you that... dynos are a tuning tool but are not as inaccurate as every 1 say they are... they do give fairly accurate torque readings so dnt talk from your a-ss
  15. a heavy duty clutch would definately allow you to feel the clutch point lol its very clampy and if yu gota good clutch maybe pushh your foot out sometimes as with my brothers old car
  16. im not talking about truck double clutching here mate as i clearly stated.... i know how they do it n i know wat it does. what i am talking about is a method used by many racers.... it has similar benifits of flat changing(changin without releasing the accelerator) but is no were near as dangerous to your gearbox and just like i said before...rally drivers & v8 supercars both use straight cut gearboxes so therefore on occasions they dnt need to use clutch because that gearbox is designed for that type of thing and it is known as an unbreakable gearbox. so if you dnt no wat yu r talking about keep your mouth closed ohk.. n i can talk however i want buddy dnt be a smart ***** yu understood wat i said n so did everybody else so shut your mouth...gronkk
  17. lol that car would hav heaps of traction *cough cough*
  18. mate im talkin bout the normal racers not the racers with over the top ten second cars... they hav automatic powerglide gearboxes orr they hav straight cut gearboxes known as (dogboxes) how about yu try redline yur car to 8200 and change with no clutch n watch yu gearbox blow to bits..... double clutching is actually very quick if yu no how to do it n yu hav the hang of it.
  19. you dnt need to tell mee.... i no what goes on when yu double clutch etc... maybe its the people who have shifting issues you should be telling lolll. what i was sayin is that race double clutching is different to trucker style double clutching...while it still does sorta the same thing.
  20. its different to like the normal truck double clutching where they take it to neutral etc... while yur foots downn on the clutch yu pump the accelerator while changin gears it is a gud race method and keeps the revs up for all yu people who cant land lift loll
  21. thanks mr22zz that was actually a very great help... i appreciate
  22. i was just wondering about places were i can get quality parts the chyeapest since alot of use hav been down that road... so watever yu guys know .. shed some light
  23. yeh tahnks guys... the car will be definately staying n.a due to p-plater restrictions and will be driven daily so not really after a turbo setup.. mostly after exhaust, extractors, cai, aftermarket ecu, cams?? and a few litlle other bolt ons
