so i just came across a lightweight knife-edge crank shaft for the 1zz on the monkeywrench website and was wondering wat sort of benifits i would possibly get out of it and would it be worth the price. also wondering if anyones running one atm.. cheers everyone

hey everbody as some of you may know already i have had a pfc installed into my 1zz powered corolla, its up and running now and i was just wondering what sort of power i could get out of it ,atm it has a cai and full exhaust system. ill attach a dyno sheet but just to keep in mind it was tuned so it runs not for any performance.. cheers guys

Then the best thing would be to get work done better and effectively if you were in the same side of the world as your car? Cause we will all be getting no where. any info or advice on were i could get this all sorted out i realise this isnt the most effectively way but u/anyone could give me some advice it would be muchly appreciated

the install was done buy my auto elec, at sandgate auto electrican and the tuning is done buy jt automotive at brendale, im aware that the last statement doesnt sound quite right but the transaltion i get for aus to here in the uk may get confused/wrong, ps.. its hard getting your folks to get the work done when your on the other side of the world,,

so ive just been told that the ecu unit (mrs 1zz fcon) isnt talking so to speak to the car.. any info or advice

Q#1 yes not 100% sure but pretty sure will find out exactly in the upcoming days Q#2 no idea will find out asap,, im going to say yes as ive been told its running just not well at all

yeah its the apexi fc atm im trying to find out all the info i can but stupid time difference is making it harder that i expected, ill get as much info asap, cheers guys

hey everybody, so ive just had an apexi fcon pro installed in my 1zz rolla and the dyno tuner is saying that it cant be reved past 3 thousand rpm. can anybody think of wat may be causing this .. .. ps wish i could give more info, but im in the uk whilst and the car is in aus , sorry :(

as were on the subject of intake and throttle body upgrades, some may know that ill be doing a full engine rebulid when i get back to aus, big bore kite stage 3 cams etc etc, i was also looking at boring out my throttle body and would it be in my best interest to get a custom made plenum.. but another question is it all worth it for a few kw,, and how would itb's go, i have heard that the itb's for a 4ag fit onto the 1zz as it has the same spacing? would a standalone ecu like the apexi fc be able to tune the itbs?

i also was looking into the lightweigh pulleys for my 1zz but from what ive been told it reduces the life of your motor.. can ayone confirm this and also why?? as i dont see the harm in a lightweight alternater pulley.. cheers sorry to hi jack this thread but im looking for pros and cons of the lightwieght pulleys..

hey guys does anyone know if energysuspension engine mounts fit 1zz 02 models i was thinking about getting some..plus apart from ebay where else could i sorce some from or will i have to cast my own??

correct me if im wrong folks but i believe the corolla s is a 2zz and u having the zze122r its a 1zz. just look for some thing thats suited for a 1zz, i managed to pick up an injen 1zz cai cheap as off ebay

He asked about getting bigger injectors.... I assumed you would need to buy an Aftermarket adjustable fuel regulator to adjust the pressure..... Thats why i said the tuner would have to adjust it. Maybe I should of been clear on that before. B) so are u guys saying im going to need to source an aftermarket adjustable fuel regulator???

im not to sure at all if ill need the extra flow but i was thinking with the larger bore, high comp pistons and a redline of 9k or more i though it would be a good idea..

i know fendsport in the uk did a awd conversion on a zze122 corolla with a 3sgte in it.. it was keeping up with a 700bhp r32.. once again not impossible but improbible

im not really sure actually i was going to get her built up and run from there.. would anyone happan to know the flow rates of these injectors.. and also i was thinking about some motor mount insterts does anyone know who or were i could get some stronger ones from.. i know energy suspension makes them for the zze123 but will they fit the zze122.

i was thinkin sportivo injectors,, as far as im aware they bolt straight in.. right??

a list of parts is easy but photos will be a problem as im in scotland and the parts are being delivered to home in aus but ill c wat a cant do when they arrive.. power fc, stage 3 cams, springs retainers and valves, 2ltr 11.1 comp piston and sleeve kit, connecting rods, morsco oil pan, trd thermostat, quaife lsd, circuitworx oil pump gears and new bearing and studs all round.. pretty sure thats about it, ow and would anyone be able to tell me if im going to need to upgrade my fuel system. does anyone also know where i might be able to find both diagrams of the zze122 1zzfe and the zzw30 1zzfe pinouts..

hello everyone i have just recently purchased all my parts i will need for my 1zz n/a project, i was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a good workshop in brisbane,im going to need the whole engine rebuilt.. also somewhere to get my power fc installed and tuned prefferably all in the same place.. any help would be great

well while everyones on the topic, i had a battle today with an exa running an sr20de, standalone ecu, intake and exhaust.. dusted him no problem../ my apoligies this battle was on a strip

do these wheels come in 4 stud.. nice wheel though, but can also depend on your cars colour weather it works or not
