Yeah. Good luck with that one. Might be a while.

My head unity has a portable player selection for input, I have an AUX in socket but when I select the portable player it say 'No Portable Player Connected' or Connection Failed, I can't remember, I would imaging you could, check with the owners manual or Toyota, that should confirm it, I haven't tried to link my pnone to play music as I don't have that many songs on it.
The 07 Toyota Aurion satnav head unit does not have an auxiliary input.

Same car. Years back.
This one as in this video of his car.

I've always liked this one:
-
Wheel alignment maybe?

Thinner oil means less friction in the engine...
Run a raised solid bar or something sitting on the bump stop in the rear with any lowering spring on the front so it rakes and reduces weight shift to a minimum. It will give you a much better launch.
Also if you go back to the 1/4 mile while stock, you can get a couple of old bump stops, cut it down the side, and then cable tie them onto your rears to help reduce you car squatting when you launch.
But at the end of the day, you should be aiming to get these great times without aids like stripping out the car etc. You only end up cheating yourself.

Difference between the oil line issue and this switch issue is safety. If the switch fails in the way that they have reported on the very small amount of cases they have had, it can cause a fire. The oil line on the other hand is just an inconvenience. Plus the oil line issue was mainly occurring in the US.

Quite possible if you know that you are doing. Headlights however would need to use halogen bulbs or some LED's to do the fade part because HID's definitely won't, and tail lights probably require internal modification as they probably use a regulated supply to prevent their brightness from fading down with reduce power so the are probably just going to either be on or off.
-
It goes a little something like this:
-
Remember not to throw out the green cap on it... unless you change to LED's. Then you can feel free to throw it out. They are cheap anyways.

Out of curiosity, on both cars, could you please take a measurement from the top of the rim (17 inch rims I assume) and the bottom of the wheel arch so I can make a comparison.
Also, could it be possible that due to the softer suspension on the Presara, the preload on the suspension causes it to sit lower?
-
Out of curiosity, where is your point of measurement from?

You will not be able to get 0.8s off your time with $500.
Rubbish. Give me you car and $500 and we'll see. I can't guarantee your car is going to be street legal or roadworthy anymore though

I used to have my sub facing the rear seat. Now I turned it around and what a HUUUGE difference in bass. I'm loving it!
Try placing it as far to the left it right of the boot as possible and face it sideways and hear how that sounds. Even if you just try it.

There is so much in terms of variables that even if you feel like you are matching what you can, it can still have an effect on your overall run. I wouldn't be going as far as to saying your exhaust could be the reason behind such a difference yet. After all, the difference you are dealing with here is only 200 milliseconds. It's not unrealistic to consider just your normal atmospheric or driving variables to be causing this difference.
Two things however:
1) Reaction time does not have any effect on your 1/4 mile time. Take advantage of that and use an extra second or two to put more focus into your launch. It can make a difference.
2) I would not be expecting a 0.7 second improvement from just an exhaust and intake alone unless your stock ones had some serious issues. To give you an example, from my experience, the fastest time on my TRD Aurion was only 0.76 seconds quicker than that of my Aurion Sportivo. These two cars had a measured power difference of 40kW at the wheels. That's not to say one or the other could have performed better, but when you are dealing with things like this, there is a fair amount of variable.

How many separate occasions did you venture out to the drags while stock, and how many of those times were you able to replicate your best time or get very close to it? Reason being is that sometimes you may not always be able to replicate your best run even when all things remain the same on your car. Dealing with the level of power you have, your ET relies heavily on your your launch. Getting it just right makes all the difference, and getting it just right can be quite a tricky exercise.

Might I also add that the new 86 is actually a pretty good looking car in modern standards? It's what Toyota should be aiming for with all their cars...
It's a good looking car, but the opinion of whether that's the design they should be aiming for with all their cars is pretty subjective based on individual opinions. Personally I think they should keep designing their family cars like the Camry and Aurion with the sharp features that the Atara has.

Okay , so I made some references to d.i.c.k. smiths for buying digital multimeters for repairs and now i have zero warning points.
Can I please have my warning removed as this is admin gone mad.
Well since 0 is the far end of the scale, I'm guessing then you want a total of 100 warning points for absolutely no reason. Sounds good to me. Be careful what you wish for.

It's an early start to this but:
Work has got me tied down so I can't make it to the meet.

In relation to the topic at hand, there are plenty of individuals/companies buying Toyotas as white goods on wheels, but they aren't desirable to people who seek 'heart and soul'
Statistically they sell the most vehicles, but whether they are desirable in respect to what's being discussed in this topic is questionable.
But are you able to speak for the others purchasing other makes and models of cars and whether they are purchasing their cars because of its "heart and soul"?

Does your user manual not cover those features? It's been a while since I saw my Aurion Sportivo manual but I'm sure it was a one size fits all manual and had details of all the features I didn't have.

There are different sub-forums for the Kluger, Rav 4, and Landcruiser. So realistically, they do have their own forum. They are just grouped under the one heading on the main page of "4x4" as they technically fit under that category and makes logical sense. Basically, the forum structure has not been altered much since it was first created so it retains familiarity.
