  1. Hey mate. There's nothing wrong with top mounts. When they dispatched my set from factory, they just put the wrong side top mounts between right & left. Once I swapped them around, they are all good. No problems at all. BC racing just spotted what the problem was straight once I attached my pics of those and gave me a simple solution to fix it up. So...No issues at all. they are just bolted on without any modification.
  2. Just a 2 months review. The ride quality is still decent with 10clicks(fronts) and 8clicks(rears) setup. No noise, no leakage at all. Tried couple of winding trials, the road condition wasn't good but they worked great. There are several times I drove onto some holes which were pretty deep and made me worried about wheel or suspension damages. However, they are still working as new and I am really happy. :D
  3. So i don't need to colour code it since carbon colour looks pretty good with black. :P :P

  5. YAY!~!!! Yeh...I reckon we'll be the only ones with eyelids on Aurion in Sydney except for azza73, since he bought his already. I'll be able to recozgnize ur car sometime in the future. And the fact that the only person who can gt them for you all is me B) lol jks lol :P Evo Yeah......Evo FTW!!!!! I'll be able to recognize VF-X's car too once I see it.
  6. There's a group buy arranged and going in Buy&Sell section. I am the only one from NSW for now tho..
  7. Nice Colour! I thinking to change the colour to something else..hmm...
  8. Although you could get those keys with remote on it, it would be hard to say it works with our aurion YET. You could find some of those keys with remote on it from ebay but I wouldn't try until TOYOTA says they are compatiable.
  9. It really depends on what your parking sensor instruction says. IMO, it's because of the least clearance in it's lower height range so it doesn't necessarily detect the ground and keep beeping? What I found is 45~60CM sounds reasonable becasue most of the cars can be included in this range unless your car is super low or super high.
  10. 1. ELEGNT - Brisbane 2. DJKOR - Brisbane 3. Dannywss - Melb 4. JIN - Sydney 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10.
  11. Just wondering, airbag kit?? I thought every aurion comes with 6 airbags fitted from factory(isn't that basic option?). You going to install some extra in it??
  12. Sigh........... That should really look TOUGH....BIG fail..
  13. Yeah, I've posted the guide before on this forum but it seems like the website is dead now. I will upload the pics with guide again once Photobucket is back on(it's in maintenance and can't log in) so I can upload all the pics again. BTW, you can just buy any of parking sensors from Ebay. They may cost about $30~$80? I would say most of them are all same. The link below is the thread I've posted before about installing parking sensor on 2004 & 2005 camry I will update and edit the pics soon so you can have a look. How to: install parking sensors The linked post is updated and pics are also uploaded.
  14. Sigh... Isn't $450 too much only for parking sensors? I have done my aurion and both parents camry by myself and it only cost about $120 total. I think I've posted the guide here somewhere long time ago? BTW, you can connect the power line(for the main sensor unit) to the reverse light from taillight and that's it. Drill the holes and secure the main unit in somewhere into boot and put the display at the top of room mirror(whereever you like).
  15. In the sports mode, the gear can be even changed into first gear when the speed hits about 80KM. It doesn't seem right. I was driving about 80KM and my girlfriend hit the gearknob accidentally and the gear changed into first gear. Is that only my car? or yours one doing in same way? I really don't get the transmission system on Aurion because even the real manual transmission does not allow to put first gear once it hits certain speed. +1 with Supercharged TRD that Transmission designer should be fired.
  16. That lipkit is in Thailand and as I know, there's no one has done it in Australia yet because of cost and shipping issues. Bondie has tried to get the lipkit from Thailand but not sure wether it was successful or not since it seems like BONDIE is going to get another car. I guess he has got all the details of the seller in Thailand so you can shot him a PM.
  17. Yes and No. I used heat protective paint but didn't use the primer. Just painted several light layers on it.
  18. That engine bay looks mint! I like it. maybe I have to think about CAI to match the clour? Well..painting the cover was not on the plan. I just got bored and saw the engine cover in my garage. (the cover was out becasue I am going to replace the earth cable soon) When I saw the cover, one thought just flashed into my head that let's paint it in black! so I did.
