  1. I used a paper tape. I put the tpae on the wrinting and cut the tape around writing edge. Once I painted, I just took the tape off from the writing. Easy DIY tho. I am going to paint once again because the paiting around 'V' doesn't look right. HaHa!! I just didn't like the silver and wanted to try something else. :P
  2. Thanks mate. So SRI is all figured out? I saw the threads that having problems with SRI. Hope things go well so we can see the result.:) I bet you gonna paint it with shiny blue. :P
  3. You can just buy a battery from woolworth or coles and replace it? it only costs about $10 for battery i guess. If you're not sure what battery your remote uses, just open up the back panel and check. it's not hard to do it at all.
  4. Haha..Thanks guys. Yeah, looks like i have to paint others to match with it. i will just leave it for now...being too lazy to do it all..
  5. Thanks mate. It was like this. I haven't put the front black cover yet.
  6. Hey guys. I just painted my engine cover in black. Stuffed a bit with 'V' but looks fine for me. How do you guys think?
  7. Hey mate. I don't think the old remote work with your 2007 sprotivo. You could try to reprogramm with your new car tho. If you want to purchase another remote for your 2007 sportivo, it may cost about $250 for brand new from toyota parts department. I got quoted that price when I was looking for spare remote for my aurion. However, if you are lucky enough, you could find one from ebay. I've bought my spare remote for $25(not 100% sure but less than $30 for sure) from ebay. If you're looking for one for your spare, make sure the remote is for CAMRY not for Aurion. The remote for Aurion 2007and Camry2007 look same but they are not compatiable. You can see the pic below. If you open the back panel of the remote, you can see the difference between Aurion remote and Camry remote. (Left one is for Aurion and right one is for Camry) Go and try ebay before you buy it from TOYOTA.You can find the remote programming from google. Try camry 2007 remote program. the steps like turning the key to ignition and off and several door openning. Good luck.
  8. BC Racing stands for Bor-Chuann Racing. So yeah they are different. BC Racing produce coilovers for other companies, not buddy club.
  9. Well...I am running on BC racing coilovers for my Aurion. They are quite solid and going well. The ride comfy is not that hard at all tho. I've researched before I bought them and the feedbacks from the Internet of BC Racing is getting positive feedbacks. You can see the link below and most of people were happy with BC Racing coilovers (45pages, more than 1,100 replies, almost all positive). BC Racing Coilovers - NASIOC I am sure it's not the best for all Coilover suspension range but I can say BC Racing is pretty good for it's money value. BTW, BC racing and D2, G4 are not the SAME. I wonder you have tried any of these.

    Aurion on 20"

Thanks mate. If you're talking about clarion amp, yeah, it works great. Nice strong bass, indeed. 400WRMS is more than enough for my year and satisfaction. If you're talking about Subwoofer (it's pioneer champion seriese), it is going well too. They are cheaper than any other high quality brands but I like how they sound like. Maybe it's because I've got cheap ears. hehe Thanks mate. No aurion in ITALY? Isn't 3.5 camry same as our aurion in here? I am pretty sure camry is every where... :)
  11. It's good to hear you liked it. For the pulling left problem, if it happens, wheel alignment could fix this problem for the first try. If it still happens after wheel alignment, then keep naggling toyota dealer to fix it up. it's not a big problem anyway and can be fixed with simple kit. it can be fixed under warranty anyway. I never had this problem at all with my aurion tho..
  12. thanks for the wecome.the mufflers are stainless supercats with 4''tips.they fill out the bumper nicely and there is a slight note and no drone(thank the almighty)anyway i will put pics up in next coupla days Welcome aboard mate. I am really exciting to see your pics.:)

    Aurion on 20"

Hey mate. I paid about $150 roughly, i don't remember exact amount because it was last August. I got the grill from argie and he's one of this forum member. asked him to ship one for me during his travel to Thailand. Cheers.
  14. IMO, all the listed problems are happening only in small amount chance. there is a few people(3~4(?) from this forum) reported about camber (pulling left) issue and that can be solved with the kit easily. I've never heard about remote not working, I think that's because of the remote battery? Maybe.. I am not sure about keyless entry because I own a SX6 which doesn't have the keyless entry. Dash rattles are being common all across manufacturers anyway... I've seen 1 case of sunroof not working properly but it was faulty one with the sunroof. Some said sunroof rattles too. All the listed problems can be seen from any of manufacturers and I don't think the chance of having those problems are high. IMHO, buying a car is like ramdom picking. It's all about your luck. If you're not lucky enough, you could pick a lemon car and having a headache or if you're with normal luck, you won't have any problems for the life of the car. I have no idea about Mazda6 and Holden but IMHO aurion is quite good deal in that price range.
  15. 235/35/20 is working fine for me. I have tried 6 adults in my car but still no rubbing so far. BTW, I am running on coilovers tho. :P I heard 9inche width would fit in aurion.
  16. Check FAQ sticky post mate.. it says all you need..
  17. Welcome aboard. It's good to hear our aurion forum is getting bigger with more people.:) Ride looks fatastic too.
  18. Good luck for your sale mate. I am sorry to hear that you are letting it go tho. BTW, if I had enough money for those two cars, I would go for EVO. XD It's just me. hehe
  19. All I know is, it allows to lever to other position when the car is off. Once the car is off and key is out of ignition at P postion, you can move the lever around when you push it.
  20. Oops.. My apoligies. I thought you're talking about the RTA inspection. You may get the blue slip from anywhere that does blueslip. I guess the RTA inspection is after the blueslip,(correct me if I'm wrong because it's last year I've done this.) and you have to go to the authorized RTA inspection centre for this inspection. For the blueslip, it can be done from any garage and I don't think it's gonna be hard if your car was registered without any problems before. Since lots of garages out there are not too harsh on blueslip unless there's something wrong with the car. Sorry for the wrong info in the other post.
  21. Hey. Unfortunately, it's not a shop. It is one of the RTA inspection centres. I think you better go to RTA and make a booking for the inspection. They will tell you where the auburn inspection centre is.
  22. I was running 17" on my ex-car and 20" for my aurion now. I would go for 18" for looks because they look better. If you are worrying about comfort, just get higher profile tyres so they can make the ride more comfort. There wouldn't be much difference if you have smaller profile tyres on 17" or 18" (stiff in both ways anyway) and you would feel so much stiffer than the 15" wheels, of course. If you are fully after the comfort, get 17" with bigger profile tyres. If you think you can sacrifice a little bit of comfort(not noticeable for me), get 18" with bigger profile tyres. Handling would be pretty same in both sizes tho...
  23. Emm...I thought RTA gives you the options that where you can go. There are not many places doing blue slip tho. There are couple of places near paramatta, I got mine done from auburn I guess, and one in penrith. You can't do the blueslip from any of the garages out there. There is a list of authorised places from RTA and you can get the blue slip done from those places only. Auburn one could be the closest one for you maybe.
  24. SIGH.......................... I think we better stop here. I am going to report back with some pictures once I change the ground cables(battery to chassis & battery to enegine) to 0 Gauge. 1m of 0 guage cable, battery clamps(positive and negative) and ring terminals are on way for delivery. It should take 1~2 weeks to get this job done since I have no spare time during weekdays. BTW, let me explain shortly again about grounding for someone who doesn't fully understand. Maybe I could be wrong because I am not an expert in elecrocity so if you're an expert, please explain and correct me if I am wrong.. Let's say the power cables are like our veins. So the Battery and alternator are the heart which pumps the blood out through our veins. and the electrocity is our blood. In this case, I could say bad ground points or cable with lots of resistance as blocked or narrowed veins. What happens if our veins blocked or narrowed? What happens if you have blood clots in your veins? I wouldn't think the result is going to be the plesure. What I am trying to do is cleaning the veins so the blood circulation would be easier and stronger. I hope this really helps and would me my last explanation to make someone understands.
