  1. Thanks mate. I guess we can meet-up at Sutherland and head to the meet-up point in a mini convoy you and I. Sure, but I was thinking of just waiting at Sutherland along the proposed route for them to come past :P. It'll save a fairly wasteful trip to and from wherever the cruise is starting.
  2. Haha, whaddya mean someone's gotta represent the shire? :P You're not the only one you know :P Hehe. That was a trick line to fish you "shire boyz" out of the crowd. hehehehe ;) That makes 2 of us from the shire then :) Damn. You got me hook, line and sinker! Great looking car by the way!
  3. Haha, whaddya mean someone's gotta represent the shire? :P You're not the only one you know :P Hehe.
  4. How did we go on seeing if we could order those weather shields? Could Castle Hill help you out?
  5. Count me in! :D Should be a great day! Just need to get work off.... But that shouldn't be a problem. //Edit// Book me in! //Edit #2// If I can suggest a slight route modifcation: http://bit.ly/rx61E Tourist Road from the top of Mac Pass, near Robertson to Bowral/Mittagong. It's a great road winds through the country a little bit. I totally recommend it.
  6. Does Castle Hill still have that install for $400?
  7. You know, I've noticed exactly the same thing! 08 Corolla Ascent nearing 25,000km. You're right, it's hard to explain, but it is like a metallic popping sound. After the car has been driven for a bit, it's fine, and my braking effectiveness hasn't changed at all. It's very strange. I might try and record it in the morning.
  8. Can't wait to hear what it sounds like!!! I'm totally interested :D
  9. Hey bro yeah i need to find a pipe n a smaller pod... I got it done at Carline Mufflers Hey Mate, good work! How much was it? And how long did they have the car for?
  10. Going off that marketing spiel on the website, I'd be in. But, how are they installed? And, how do they work? :S
  11. So does anyone know where some antisway bars could be had for the zre?
  12. Hey Armstrong, great idea. I'm up for either idea, but Saturday 2nd would be best :)
  13. Hey guys, Well, unlike the guy above me, I wasn't able to get off work :(. Boss-man is in hospital and he needs me. But, assuming no one is sick and I'm available, I'll definitely be at the next one! Have fun people!
  14. Hey Armstrong, I'm out here now. Went for a little walk before to try and find you. Or are you here tomorrow. Ooh ok it's starting.
  15. Well guys, unfortunately, even if the ECU does have the cruise control capabilities, I can't see any way of plugging into it because that empty socket in the steering wheel to plug the cable into isn't there. So, any other suggestions, now that I have the parts in hand? I wonder if I could hard wire it into the computer.. Does anyone know how the computer works in the ZRE?
  16. Well, Armstrong, after all that research, you better turn up :P
  17. I thought it was $10 anyway? Always has been whenever we've gone. Ok, a lot of my mates bailed on me, so I'm in with TOCA now :P. The 18th sounds best.
  18. Edit: Couldn't get off work since the boss is going on the Royal Flying Doctor's bash that week. Maybe next time :)
  19. Well, Armstrong, just re-read your post following what we talked about today. Even if it locks rpm, that's the same as speed because the two are related. Ie, if it locks it at 3000rpm and I'm in 6th gear, then, it'll also be locked to 110km/h (or around there somewhere). As speed increases, so would the RPM, thanks to the gear ratios and whatnot. But, *fingers crossed* it'll work like every other cruise control I've ever used :D. Ordered from www.toyotapartsales.com Can't wait :D <lazy> :P
  20. Ok, I'm coming! I'm leaving Cronulla now, and I might have to skip a few detours to catch up. Silver ZRE with plates MNW-175. 0434 26 38 98 *phew, here goes!*
  21. This makes no sense. Before I went to bed, at midnight, I set my clock back one hour to be ready for DST. I think it's 7:51 right now, but apparently it's 8:51.. :S So, I won't be able to get ready and make it to the M4 in 40mins :(
  22. Haha, already going with about 6 mates. Planned for the Friday or Saturday night too. I saw Tokyo Drift at Bass Hill and it was awesome! I hope the atmosphere will be the same :D
  23. Risk it, if it rains, big deal, just close your window :P
  24. So can anyone who knows the route put up a working google maps link? Even if you tinyurl it, maybe the forum can't understand the google maps urls.
  25. Sounds great! Do you think Australian dealerships would stock these two parts in their spares divisions? Or will I have to order them in from overseas?
