  1. Im using EBC greenstuff on my stock rotors, they work fine except for the brake pad dust. Braking power is way better than stock pads.
  2. Thanks Mikey Tee, thats what i did, i did it that very night, they said i can appeal, by writing a letter, and if that fails i can take it to court. I hate the fact the cop s are targeting P platers, not all P Platers are hoons. Just say wat if ur p platers fall off? or get stolen? automatically u can cop a fine! i rekon that is full of f$%%%^ BS. At the same time those who cant see my interior p plates shouldnt be driving at all, you must have eye problems to be unable to see my p plates. What really pi#$ed me of is that while he was telling my defects, a done up muscle car drive in for rbt, as loud as a harley even when he isnt rev, smoke pouring from the zorst, got let off without even a check up. This is just ridiculous, thank *** im getting my fulls in 2 weeks i dont have to put up with this shiet anymore.
  3. Anyone else have an opinion the focal or the RF? the RF have a higher power rating than the Focals..... Help
  4. You weren't doing the right thing, though. Since July 1 you HAVE (i.e. requirement of driving while on a Provisionary license) to display your P plates on the exterior of your car. EOS. That's really good advice. ;-) Sounded like the cop was on a bit of a power trip. It gets like that. Mate i did the right, i normally have 3 p plates on my car, 2 inside one out side on the back, the back got stolen while i was at uni.
  5. Heres my story, i think polices are getting out of hand, they arent giving ppl a fair go and i thought Australia was about giving ppl a fair go. I pulled over on last friday, for random RBT, unlucky my magnetic p plates on the outside were stolen that day during uni (im on my green Ps, and have 2 weeks before i get my fulls). I thought to myself luckily i got magnetic P plates inside the car, but i was fined $185 and 2 points, i have never had any infringement after driving for 3 years. The cop told me to drive in side a car park and took fotos of my p plates, i think this is bs coz, there was no light shinning and it 8pm at night of coz its gonna be dark, secondly he took fotos with hes fone which does not provide quality or light. He also threatened to fine me for my mods eg. CAI. I was being polite to the police officer, and when he gave me the fine for my p plates not showing, i asked him how can i get this appeal this matter, he threatened to give me more fines eg the CAI, hes exact words "mate i got plenty of ink do want another fine?" ive ran into some good cops, but some cops are very intimidating and power hungry. I got fined for doing the right thing, the P plates i got in the car are ones i purchase from autobahn, and they are made for interior window, u can see them clearly when there is adequate light. So P Platers keep spares of ps in ur car, thats my advice.

  10. Hey guys, i've looked on the threads but no luck in finding information about auto transmission fluid for an auto 1zz, so my question is which brand is good? which is Bang for buck? I was told Penrite (Penrite Sin?), and Motul is good? Ive also been to places like Repco, Super Cheap, AutoBanh and AutoOne, they done seem to stock performance or semi performance ATF, which is what im looking for.... I know some of you guys out there are car enthusiast, and would be able to give me information and opinions... Thanks in advance.... Cheers P.S i will stop modding once i get 100kw atw kekeke

I've been here for a while now, i wonder when I'm gonna hit a thousand post.
  15. The Brakes were $138.60, i did the install myself with the help of a friend.
  16. Hey guys I got the EBC greenstuff on my cars now, using these with stock rotors, i must admit these are awesome, stopping power is crazy, i love em. The only downfall to the EBC stuff is that there is a slight squeak when braking, but i think this is just the bedding system of the brakes. These brakes also have a funny smell like playdo. For $140 the EBC Greenstuff are great bang for buck. I got mine from Parramatta Brakes and Clutches on Grose St, they are also an official supplier for EBC check it out on the EBC website. Cheers
  17. hahaha, thats where your wrong, my cars auto and i have practically close to no lag.
  18. My friend had the same problem before in hes seca, im pretty sure its the earthing of the power supply to the system. Get ur gear reinstalled it should fix its. cheers
  19. Thanks Bigbum, I have checked that, all they talked about were rotor and disk upgrades, the thread does not discuss break performance, brands and prices which i need information on. So can some please enlighten me about brakes, i dont have much knowledge about these. Cheers
  20. Hey guys my rolla needs new breaks, an im not sure what to get, i was told ebc greenstuff are good? What other ones are also good? Endless maybe? or mus secret? Whats bang for buck? The brakes are for everyday driving, but as u know sometimes i take hard corners and take the car to the Nashy Run, so i want something that will give me some good braking power. Can you guys post me the brands, where i can get them from and prices? I tried searching but there isn't a thread about brakes? Cheers guys
  21. Well Dugong pratically outlines when ive got on my car, headers, cai, and piggy back. I rekon the tb will give me good gains after a tune because i can ram more air into the engine without FI, at the same time it is a relatively cheap to do, with pretty good gains, thats why i want to do it, it will be the icing on the cake. I know my Rolla wont be a 14 second car unless i go FI, but the day i got it i knew i wanted to do things to it to make it go a lil better, and im quiet happy with what its doing now. And i just love the look at peoples faces when they surprised. Since the beginning after the first 1/4 mile run i wanted to make this thing go beyond the 16s, a lot of you guys say is its possible, and im just hoping to prove you guys wrong, at the end of the day if i can make it to the low 16s i will be happy. So any other guys know where i can get the tb bored let me know. And i appreciate the support from you guys, and also Pippy ur spare TB might come in handy. Cheers all "Nothing better then keeping up with an exhausted manual honda accord euro till 120km"
  22. Most of what you guys are telling me to do I've done it, the tb is to top it off with a final tune. Then i will take it down to the 1/4 for a final run, and thats the project done. Currently, im pushing 94.5 kw atw. Im just trying to do every bolt on mod possible before i start to think about opening the engine bay. Where can i get my tb bored and a custon butterfly made? Rollamods, do you have any idea?? I will be heading to bris for a road trip next week. I know the stock tb is around 55 mils, i was thinking about boring it to 60 mils. Cheers guys
