  1. This does my head in :( ...people that slam on the brakes for an amber light and pull up just in time or even have to reverse back a little because their over the lines, and they would have made it thru the intersection safely anyway.

Get use to it for Sydney people because of these new safety cameras...

My rant for the day is dickheads that think "Because he modded his car, he'll speed all the time... Oh WTF I'm right up his *****?! Come on... Move it..." Stupid, I'm in that lane because in 300m I'm going to turn? =| And why should I speed because I've got a modded car, I will NEVER know =|

  2. For brakes, why not look at brakes off other cars such as BNR32/33/34 or JZA80s or LanEvos/STis to see if they fit? Unless you're going to go that crazy with power, most of these cars have 4 Pot front and 2 Pot rear. You'll be spoiled for brake pad choice as well ;)

  3. Hi Chicken =)

I bought it from Supercheap actually, but you'll have to ring before hand cause they're not a regular stock from what I know...

Ground Coat is the primer and then you spray your chosen colour which for me was the Blue, I believe Supercheap is able to get Red, Blue, Purple and Ground Coat...

Now on the American Duplicolor site, MC-206 Smoke is brand new so perhaps source it from the States?

    Duplicolor Metalcast Website

I'll be able to get you guys better shoots when I finish up my aero on Sunday :)

  4. Took her in for a service. Holy crap, 6L of oil takes a looooooooooooooooooooong time to drain!
    Painted calipers metallic blue

Using proper hi-temp/caliper paint? What shade of blue? I've been looking for metalic blue caliper paint for yonks. None of the paint shops here seem to have it in metalic.

    Hi Paradigm =)

My friend helped me with this... we used Metalcast both the Ground Coat (3x) and the Blue Metallic (5x) =)

It says its hi-temp but the temp rating isn't that fantastic... So its testing stage for me, so far so good...

The guys on SAU have used it to great effect =)

Here is a Link to what it looks like on mine =)

  5. What power are you aiming for?

Responsive? Drag? =) More information would be appreciated :)

Cause you'll need to find all sorts of parts to suit the new found power. Gearbox, Differential, Suspension, Brake, etc. Will need to be looked at and assessed to make sure it can withstand or start finding parts that can be used...

  6. Which one in the Advan lineup?

There are quite a few Advans, ranging from high performance to outright semi-slicks and slicks =)

If you're talking about the Advan AD07/AD08 Neovas, they're "Ultra High Performace" street tires, hence they're going to be very soft and focus on outright performance rather than any "comfort" so if you're after some comfortable, durable and reduced road noise, definitely NOT the tire you're after. Same goes for Bridgestone RE01-R and RE11s, same for most of the Ultra Performance Tires :)

  7. Advan RGII never came in Black unfortunately...

White and Gold are the most common colours for them... Bronze, Bright Chrome and Silver are the other colours its available in though not commonly found. Any "RGIIs" found in Black or coloured lips are replicas/fakes.
