  1. rear shocks stiffer than front.................... and go round the track the same way as everyone else - i prefer to go against the flow but this style doesnt suit everyone take some sandwiches too - i find a banana filling improves my times no end
  2. Thanks for that, I'll go ahead and order my mahles now. bit of a drop though from 11,5 to 9,0! are you buying a new block too? as you cant touch the original bore due to the mmc lining you'll want resleeving or a new block unless you are willing to put up with some piston rattle like most do when not doing the job properly.
  3. well its a German plated car so maybe try ebay.de?
  4. CHA54 is saying to take it out 1mm over with the die grinder and then finish it off with something else to get a tidier job. So it will be more than 1mm larger than the port when finished! How much so I don't farken know? But if you look at the photo provided on the previous page, you only have less than ~2mm before you meet the gasket... While you're handing out advice, I think you should stick to being a dumb arsehole, since you're really good at it. Go back and RTFM on people skills... Gav. bit more polite than your original quote. as you clearly dont know what your taking about you should GTFO as you so eliquintely put it. put your e warrior pants back under your trousers - and maybe you should rtfm on porting as you have made youreslf look very stupid when challenging someone who does these and DOES know what he's talking about. you can always tell an aussie - you just cant tell him much! i think that saying applies to the likes of you. by all means carry on with your inferior ported header - knowledge is horse power!
  5. god, some of you are dumb. i shouldn't have to spell everything out, we all know about reducing the chances of flow reversal and the step helps scavenging - so your saying you will have the header and gasket different sizes - have a day off. now who's the silly one - who cant read. another point - your average installer wont know to centre the header and gasket and just rest it on the studs (i use drill bits to centre the bolt hole on the stud) before tightening, if you only enlarge by 1mm................. think about the rest of the sentence or do i have to fill all the gaps sorry better stick to the threads you can handle - which cai should i get, its been 2 threads since someone asked ;) we can all be smart sheilas.
  6. Learn to read... learn to port! match to gasket or you will create unnecessary turbulance.
  7. you dont port match the header - the header should be larger than the exhaust port. use the gasket as your template, for those who are unsure about portng join some portin forums and read the basics.
  8. my mcafee site advisor warned against downloading from the site linked - contains a lot of adware and spyware.
  9. its a stock bar fiited to the facelift models - made by yamaha. i didint expect to notice it to be fair but it made a noticeable difference, reduced flexing thats for sure and tightened the rear up. i plan on putting one the other mount bolt - but i'll knock that up myself. i i'll get a proper pic - its mounted to the strut mount bolt and it does make a difference, thats why it was fitted on the facelift. i doubt it will offer the same improvement as the TRD tower brace but for £40 i'm happy - but yes the TRD one will be going in at some stage to compliment it.
  10. [ Yeah I have the same screen name on 9thgen as well. Thanks for letting me know what was going on here with SD's harness no worries my friend - glad you got it, having some fun now i bet? is the harness you got the same as the ozzy harness as our euro pinout is different i think? well we have different features....... i've changed my screenname on 9thgen to "Pocket Rocket" - same name as my upcoming sideline. get some pics up overthere............................
  11. i fitted a facelift yamaha rsb and surprisingly that made a difference for only being attached at 1 point of the strut mounting points and being so flimsy for a sb. if you use your imagination you could make one in no time....................
  12. Thanks SD Hi Everyone, Just wanted the forum to know that DAVE is the MAN!!! Everything works using his adapter harness ...A/C, temperature gauge it all works on my jdm model runx z. He was very prompt in all his correspondence with me and all jdm model runx z's and fielder z's can purchase this harness without question. Thanks once again Dave! sweet - that was you on 9thgen? SD - did you confirm the euro ecu pinout was the same as the JDM variants?
  13. is that RHD or LHD? its not rhd or lhd specific - its designed for exhausts that exit from the right side of the car, the JDM variants seem to exit on the left side. thats Gustavo's header - he loved his design so much he took it to bed!
  14. ppe also supply a mid pipe for the Corolla to make installation even simpler.
  15. 3" piping is no good with stock ecu unless you place the maf in a 2.75 sectioning. surprised nobody else picked up on that
