1min13s is a bloody good time if it is true in a stock DC2R. I have a Wheels magazine in Feb 2000 that showed the DC2R doing 1min 18.4s. But in comparison the Celica ran a 1min21.9s and the Civic VtiR coupe ran 1min23s. I have also seen a DC2R with AP 6 pot front brakes and no muffler run a 1min9s (spectator hand-timed). Seriously i think our Stivos that day easily beat the timed laps as it was done in our 1st or 2nd sessions. Later in the day we picked out better lines and got braver with our braking, we definitely went quicker. My rear swaybar also felt loose making klonk klonk sounds making me oversteer more than my last 2 visits combined :D but i guess i got better turn-in that way.. But what Dylan said is true, we are not comparing our cars to Hondas because they have double wishbones :( and the DC2R we all know is made for the track, weighing only 1085kg. All i know is the Celicas are currently kicking the DC2R's azz in the Production Car Series! :P ← oops!!! it should be mid 1:15... sorry guys...

my friend's stock DC2 (with street tyres too) can do 1:13s...

i think i may hold the record of driving most of the colours of the ZZE series, out of the 8 colours i have driven 6 of them. 1. Glacier White (pre-facelift Ascent) -hire car from Bayswater, Aug 03 2. Sterling Silver (post-facelift Ascent) -test drive 1, Oct 04 3. Lucifer Red (pre-facelift Sportivo) -2nd hand, same day as above, trying out different models 4. Shimmer Silver (post Sportivo) -test drive 2 when facelifted model arrived, Feb 05 5. Cascade Blue (post Sportivo) -routine test drive before purchasing, Jun 05 6. Ink (post Sportivo) -current vehicle the only colours i missed out are Green and Merlot Red.

thank you Justin for organising it!! the cruise was great!! well apart from those Lancers... just a personal things, no offence to u Misguidedangel... hate noisy exhaust + loud 'music'... i was doing ~115kmh at 6th in the uphill section before the hairpins, and i was passed by TWO Lancers stretching their cars at the limit to pass me, i wonder what will happen if i shift it back to 3rd and floor it too.....

It is right next to eastern creek raceway too... ← is it also known as the "Twin Servo"?? (watch too much 7's Sunrise traffic info!!)

I bought the Navman ICN510 over the weekend and it's pretty good. the re-route is quite fast when I deliberately disobey turns. It’s slim enough to slip in the drawer on the centre console. I will never got lost again!!
