  1. For anyone interested in whether the Ultra Racing Strut Bar made for 2006+ Toyotas Camrys will fit on the aurions, the answer is yes Fitting the unit is very straight forward, just takes a small tap with a mallet to allow for the strut bar to fit on perfectly Heres some photos of the Strut Bar I havent had a chance to drive the car yet, ill post up my thoughts when i get the chance
  2. TRD is a great car for the money, very cruisy, reasonable insurance, decent on fuel if you drive it right and very rare on the road If your after a performance car thats great for everyday the TRD is great however if i was looking at buying another car around 45 grand id probably look at an R34 GTR but i couldnt live with it everyday (id worry about it to much :-P) Or as mentioned an MK5 Golf Gti is an awesome car for the money, GTI + APR tune =animal :)

  4. silver, white, black and tungsten (dark silver/grey) but just can't find the tungsten or white.... originally the SL's only came in silver and black but this year they changed the colours a bit, a few new ones out (not sure if they ever made any though) never seen a TRD in any of the new colours or an SL in anything but silver and black an Inferno 3500S would be nice :)
  5. Dash rattle yes but thats all ive had the only pull to the left ive had would be due to torque :P
  6. My TRD came with Sportivo Mats I have wanted to change them but i don't think its worth the money, ultimately they are just there so the carpet doesnt get dirty so they are a disposable item If anyone does here of TRD mats on sale though id be interested :)
  7. Ive had a few brands of coilovers over the years K sports, Zeals, D2's and a few friends have had Teins & buddyclubs Honestly the k sports are quite good for the money, they arent the same as D2's im sure, they D2's werent much chop Zeals were the best for ride quality but at the same time the worst for noise, i think i had a particulary bad set, i hated them they had extremely noisy tops the K sports are reasonably quiet, a little firm but they are adjustable and can go very low Teins super sports are good value for money Buddyclubs are similar to tein ss's , good quality & reasonable pricing but i believe will allow you to go lower id go for the N+ racing dampers :)
  8. :) looks nice! Got any more photos of the boot install with more light Would like to see how its set up :)
  9. Any further information on this? did they ever make one or was there just talk of it? cheers
  10. 2 cars ago i had a Nissan Maxima about 3 weeks out of warranty i was driving along in D and the car made a clunk noise and started free revving alot to do 60km/h it was on about 6,000 rpm had an ordeal with that, couldnt get warranty cover and had massive issues with nissan ended up replacing it with a 2nd hand gearbox out of a write off, Nissan wanted $7500 for a new gear box, it entirely shat itself, had a hole in the transmission casing and it had a rather easy life prior to this Sucks its happened with yours :( mine took 8 weeks for nissan just to say "no its not covered under warranty and it'll be xxxx to fix" 12 weeks in total the car was gone :( hopefullys its not as majors , but a week seems unlikely :(
  11. :) they look great that last one is wicked :) nice work :)
  12. I assume the dropping of TRD was bound to happen whether Toyota internationally made a loss or not with how many sales they've had its probably more coincidental then a direct cause, but ultimately it does make sense that if things arent going as good as they have been to drop things that arent making you money However I did see this on the news and im sure Toyota Australia are still very viable I believe the Hilux was the best selling car in Australia last month, The Corolla always does well and the Camry, kluger, aurion etc are always up there. Im surprised as to where the loss has come from? Exchange rates and the american market would have been the greatest cause i can imagine
  13. Ive got 19s with low profiles and i dont think it rides too bad its better then previous cars with larger rims ive had Its not perfect but i like the firmness, except for the few streets close to my house which are pretty terrible its good on the highway etc probably not as firm as my work VE SS on 18s
  14. a light tap with a mallet and it fits quite easily i was worried it didnt fit when i installed mine, tapped it once and it went on :)
