  1. mate depending on the cars ur looking at u can simply tell if its worth buying just by the look, the owner and a test drive. If you want something to get around work and run cheap is suggest same car as what Ive got. BUY UR CAR FROM OLD FOLKS ....JUST A HINT Mines a 1.8L 7AFE auto with 87kw. Costs me $30-$35 week. each day i'm driving 80km. Its not powerful but still fun to drive with the torque is has :P Good luck finding the car :D

  4. The engines a 7AFE and its done about 280,000km. So its dont a hell of alot of highway km's. ohhh well i just got the aftermarket green coolant that you have to add water to. I better change it lol Where can i get my hand on the toyota one? just from any toyota servicing area i take it... recomend any 15W40 brand to go for?
  5. haha...yes dav we all know u got a fast sportivo i wasnt expeciting an oil change would to give me warp speed hahhaha
  6. hey all Ive been experimenting a little bit with fuels and things. But was wondering if the experts here would know what would be the best for a AE102 regarding engine response: *oils *oil filters? is it worth replacing? *coolant
  7. hey everyone just curious if Toyota is going to release a new corolla sportivo this year or soon?
  8. 20 at the moment...will be 21 in june ;)
  9. i agree a DeLorean would be preety sweet to own. as for the LED's it may look okay...depending on the you have car. but it does look illegal. but being curious, i thought id throw the question on the forum it has been raised by a few people at meets. Anyway good to know for sure. I'm surprised though that they are so easy to buy...even through you cant use the things lol. Who ever created them didn't gain anything from it. anyway thx all
  10. i dunno...if there is something on tonight feel free to pm me if anyone knows :D probably meet up at Sydney arena then go from there at 8pm and well go to any of the locations mentioned in the topic. if your coming let everyone know. the more the better..not like last night

  19. mate ive got a 96 seca. I had the same issue too. you'll need to replace them. Keep in mind the boot on these hatches are bloody heavy. So its a common issue on these rollaz. Probably best go to autobarn for a new pair. hope that helps ;)
  20. saw this black celica twice today with the plates TOY:099 .......not sure about the 099 part...i think it was near the blacktown TAFE
  21. 16" rubber for an AE102 means 205/45/16, which will either give you cheap and crappy tyres, or good but ridiculously expensive (relatively) ones. In some cases, going to a 17" will give you a bigger tyre range at sometimes cheaper prices than the 16s On that point though, I fully recommend 16s for performance/handling. 17s will look OK (the 102s have pretty big wheelarches, especially the fronts), but 16s definitely for handling as a maximum. Okay...but either way going 16 or 17 is still going to be better handling than the 14'' yokohama A drive tyres im currently on? Most likely, if you get good tyres. Best handling would be from 15s and semi-slicks, but they're no use for everyday road driving. 205/45/16 on something like RE001s or S-drives will be almost as good, certainly better than stock suspension will allow too. what size have u got fitted on ur car?
