Ok so if you guys havent already read the thread "Banner Change!" in "Site Suggestions" this is a kinda add on to our conversation there. Banner Change! Link Ok. A lil overview on our thread for the ppl who CBF reading. So im planning on having the banner up top of your page.... Located /\ UP! /\. To be changed from this boring old corolla. Well the guys who have spoken up on this Banner Change! thread have said to improve my TRD Aurion banner. But then i was thinking how bout we bring a lil more.... what would ou call it. Community to it. Ok. So here is the part most of you guys are waiting to read. Well with this idea in mind i have thought about collecting some images of MEMBERS RIDES. Not by me going through all car photos in MEMBERS RIDES and maybe upsetting ppl if there ride was shown without permission. So this is where this thread comes into use. I would like any member who would like there car to be used in the banner to post pictures up here. Guys i know privacy of your number plates WILL worry most of yous. So if this goes to plan i WILL be changing plates to 'TOCAU". So guys please get posting. Then by the end of this I will get ppls votes on what images to use on the banner. So its not just my choice. Guys this is getting me pumped already so please get posting. Or shooting! Get back ASAP! Note: Please guys do not use images you have found on the net (I COULD HAVE DONE THAT!) and don't send pictures of cars that really wont be worth wasting time over (BY THAT I MEAN PAINT PEELING, RUSTED OUT JUNKS, ETC...). I need a trustworthy brakes place to buy you biute rotors, calipers and pads and i want to know if any of you guys know of anyone around the werribee hoppers area. And if anyones says BRAKES PLUS you deserve to be smacked.

Your rotors arnt like mine and warped? I get a similar thing. An i got my 2 fronts replaced 2 months ago.

1985 Corona With.... DVD head unit Sub 2 amps 4 Neons With all this either on or off when i brake my headlights, parkers, dash lights dim. Not much but its noticable. And I had to recently replace my brake switch for the 4th time now in under a year. Can anyone tell me why this is happening? The dimming and brake switches giving out. Are the a joint problem?

Oh gees. Bloody car wash indian ppls. IQ of rocks sometimes. And 300 for a new key i dont fckn think so! This way is most def the cheaper alternative. Well if you do end up doing it let us all know how it goes and maybe more ppl will be interested in doing it.

Well mate im planning to take this into a few shows so its gotta have the all out sound sys. The subs i will eventully have in a custom enclosure. And mate I hate MTX and all that s..h..i..t! Not my thing to go with something foriegn to what i already have. So Pioneer is the go. But i will be looking at a better amp to run these subs off when i have them.

Well hey I got the same corona by the sounds of it. To take it out the screws for the ash tray have nothing to do with the taking the tape deck out. The Plastic casing that goes around that center bit including the tape ashtray and the heater controls etc. Pull it off that should unclip off. Then you will see screws that are next to the tape deck unit unscrew them and wola! Should be all that to be done. Pull the unit out. Well anyways im positive that is. I did the same after my 2din DVD unit was installed and thats how it was set up. Let me know how it goes.

Yeah i think i might just give it a try. Well im getting my central locking and shiz done monday so ill put my order in for one of these keys soon. Get back to you guys to see how it went.. Wish me luck.

Ok. So i have this 85 Corona. With this:........ Pioneer DVD Head Unit (AVH-4050DVD) 2 Pioneer Amps (GM6300F & GM3200T) Pioneer 12” Subwoofer (TSW306C) 4 Pioneer Speakers (2x TSG1041R & 2x TSA1672S) OK. So in the next few months i will hopefully have another subwoofer. Im looking for the same so a PIONEER TSW306C. Which im hoping will run straight off the amp im using for my existing sub. BUT!!! Im after a you biute Pioneer sub better than your standard sub. Maybe a 15". Any suggestions???.......................................................... But then that got me thinking would i need to run another amp for this 3rd! Subwoofer??? If so what would be suggested. PS. System goes like this...... AVH4050DVD >>> GM3200T* >>> 2x TSG1041R & 2x TSA1672S >>> GM6300F* >>> TSW306C Which ever amp is better thats for my 4 speakers and the one thats less is for the sub. Just to try and clear some some sound guys minds.

Exactly as the title asks. Does anyone have a Pioneer TSW306C that may be up for sale?? After putting 2 of the same subs and maybe getting an extra one for a future complete custom boot casing. Pimp my ride style! YEH BOIZ! Lol.

Ok so as the title says. Flip Key Conversion. I have a 1985 Corona. Not that its got any keyless entry let alone central locking but i was wondering if I was to get an aftermarket kit for the central locking and keyless entry and use the buttons on the remote i was to be given and use them in an aftermarket Flip Key. Eg. like this...... Flip Key Prado on EBAY.COM.AU Maybe with a lil modification if the button placements where different. So really all im asking does anyone know if there is a difference in key shape, size, width whatever throughout toyotas? And if so what would be the closest to a corona? So I could go ahead and get one of these aftermarket Flip Key and Button Kit.

Hahaha. Funny shiz. I love how they scream like lil girls to the driver in the LandRover. And how the guy driving it looks like he doesnt try to correct it after the corner. Then the other guy trys to steer it. Wouldnt it have had a better outcome putting it on a tow truck??? I think so.

I am currently sketching up some designs for redoing my interior on my 85 Corona. My next door neighbour whos brother owns ProTec in Melton is one option i have to go to for this. (apparently crown gets him to do their seats in the casino and various other spots in crown.) Or there is a place in Thomastown called AUTO IMAGE INTERIORS which could be another one to go to. But im after somewhere fairly local. I live just off OLD GEELONG ROAD down forsyth rd. So HOPPERS CROSSING, LAVERTON. Im happy to go out to Melton, but im just wondering if any of the guys here have had their interior in some way done and where? Cheers guys.

Hey guys. So yeah to make it quick im currently on my P plates atm. Under the new VIC P high performance laws. Im thinking of doing an engine swap shortyly after i have my interior completely re-upholstered to show room look. Anyways yes for an engine change on a 1985 RWD RT142 Corona Sedan. Im thinking of waiting till im off my p plates to go for a 1GGTE! (Turbo ver.) or now go for the 1GGE engine. I currently have the 22RE. But with my paintjob and stereo thumping constantly (like all P platers are known for) :) i have commodores lining me up and i just cant compete. <_< I have hyundais keeping up with me. How embarresing. So i think i need to step it up another 2 cylinders. What are your thoughts? Get a 1GGE now and strap a turbo on to it after im finished on my Ps (gotta love forced induction) or.............. Get the 1GGTE later after my Ps in the next 3 years. Please guys your thouhts would help me out heaps. Thanks. PS.. I currently have an intercooler being sent from QLD for a 1G engine. and also going to be transfering $$$ for a mines ecu (that apparently came factory with the 3rd gen 1G.) fairly soon. So the 1G engine is a go. Just picking a stock non-turbo or turbo is the qs. Cheers guys.

Cheers guys. Yeah my thoughts were high on the 7mgte becuase my uncle has an A70 with one and its been rebuilt and apparently its bulletproof he says (HOT SUP). So i thought his best mate, mechanic too could help me with mine if i was to get one. Well thanks guys for the feedback. If you guys come across any of these engines for sale anywhere please let me know. It will be gladly appreciated. Thanks.

I was thinking of doing some serious work to the lil beast of mine atm. Seriously thinking of doing an engine swap from a 22RE to a nice 7MGTE. Any feedback on this would be nice. I had this on supraforums as a suggestion but got shut down big time. Anyone have any info they can share on this? Like some Pros and Cons of this type of engine swap? Also and how to go about buying a 7MGTE.
