hey everyone tomorrow is saturday hope to see everyone there at 3pm anyways myself and a few other corolla sportivo drivers are meant to be getting there 15min early so we can line up next to each other in the car park few lanes back from krispy kreme so when you turn up just look out for us and come say hi anyways i drive obviously a toyot corolla sportiv white standard cept for window tint and if you get the chance to hear it alarm system so look out for me when you rock up ill juts be standing next to my vehicle cheers guys see you all there also ill try to get a few photo copies of some rough details of the cruise to help out a little on where were going its not that tricky but bring your directory just incase

hmmm, Justin i think i have to listen for myself to know what that is.. have you checked your intake for leaks? ← yeah its confusing sounds cool but i dont know if its something i should be showinf off lol might be something serious for all i know but it only does it sometimes we will see on sat i might be able to show you then also i just got back from toyota and neither of the 3 nioses would happen so they sorta told me sorry come back when it does happen so we can then identify it i explained the problems and he told me he knows of them but wont fix them unless it actually does it for him to give the ok to fix it

yeah definatly post up how the magna flow gos for loud , deep , drone cus im interested too it looks pretty awesome

lol whatever you guys do is fine as long as your there a few mintues early lol damn i was hoping for a line up of about 8 stivos that would have been good but now you ruin it on me ZEE lol only joking mate still waiting for a reply from influx too might only be a 6 stivo line up now but that will still look alright i guess

yeah i know this topic has been discussed before but my main worry is the winding noise the turbo like noise that i havent read about yet so i just thought i would post the other too problems while i was at it

yeah i know big brake set ups to cost heaps and uts not worth it on our cars unless we do some major upgrades i find the standard ones already pull up pretty well but the look so weak but i just want something that stops a little better but looks so much bigger is there something i can do or buy that doesnt cost an arm or leg

well if they dont want to fix it then further action is exactly what ill be doing too i know it takes up time and sometimes money but its about the principal we payed for the damn car and some people pay for warrenty ( i didnt ) warrenty is meant for these thigns so ill get up them ive done it before to another dealer ill do it ot to these guys too lol :P

well in that case i suppse i better ring them then get them to fix the rattling selector cable and the exhaust heat sheild from tapping and the whistling niose that will pee them off they hate it when you come upto them with a list rather then just 1 problem at a time hehe oh well thats whats warrenty is for i dont feel bad one little bit cus its taking out my time too

yeah the whistling kinda sounds cool if you had somone who didnt know what they was talking about you could tell the its turbod lol hence the wind up niose and the turbo effect of the lift but even though it sounds cool it might not be i guess i will just give toyota a call tomoz then i suppose gotta get off my lazy but first lol

ok well basicly i know about the niosy gear selector cable and the exhaust plate tapping on the exhaust pipe and that could quite possibly be what the nioses are but i better check anyways well when im giving it a boot full around 5000 it starts to make a whistle niose and/or a rattling but its so fast and constant it just sounds like a whistle im thinking its probably just the heat plate cus i here nioses all the time butit just so much louder (obviously) when im flooring it so can anoyone help me out also im quite certain apart from the rattling my car actually does whistle is that normal ??? sounds like a turbo winding up just before i hit lift and during lift help would be much appreciated guys cheers

nah man that doesnt look ridiculous at all i think the standard brakes on mine look ridicoulesly small lol how much for a decent set of big breaks to fit the sportivos does anybody know

well there a brilliant idea for those people who hate there cars to be touched but personally i think there ******* cus you cant shamy (spelling??) you car afterwoods cus its still dirty so really it sucks but my local has a few guys who sponge the dort off firts with soapy water it defeats the purpose of a touch free wash but it comes up real good then nothing beats the old bucket and sponge and some loving care i think

i took my car throuh a car wash last night and i give it a good look over when i drove out cus they garunteed scratch free but i always look anyways before i drive away i noticed heaps of swirl marks over my car too from factory cus the drive through wash didnt go around in circles so i had to be from when they detailed it before they gave me the car (lazy i know but that was the first wash since i bought the car 3 weeks ago ) it bugged me heaps at first but unless you full looking side on REALY close up you cant see it so i got over it real quick i suppose the only way to get it done properly is to spend $300 to get a FULL PROFFESIONAL detailer to do it that way it wont cost you anything to take it back if there is marks all over it

never clean it in winter again why is that i figure it would take longer to dry but if thats not your reason then wouldnt it be better to have it clean in winter due the the fact the air is colder there for more response and power so you want les restriction to get asmuch as this cold air in as possible :D

hehe might be the fact that i try to take it real easy in the rain or maybe my car is week lol i havent actually come across this problem yet yes i have felt torque steer but not in the rain wich i suppose is a good thing just means im driving responsible lol also my car is like 3weeks old and the last time it rained a decent down pour was atleast a week ago so my tyres have like 99% tread left so that helps to i guess

to be honest with you i bet they know what it is but they must also know its no big deal so they just dont wann keep fixing them so they pretend they cant find it thats what i reckon anyways

hmm sounds like it could be a normal thing it happens to me only when i drive at night in the cold unless i just dont notice it during the day who knows but it is sooo annoying down gearing and accelerating just sounds wrong anyways i guess even if its normal im gonna keep getting out of them what i can cus anything they do will be nothing less than a slight improvment so i guess i might enquire about it real soon

thats exactly what it does it stays on for roughly 2 seconds after start up when all the other lights turn off then the oil light turns off so does that mean there is a problem with my wireing too

yeah thats exactly right i hear it down gearing goes away when i put the clutch in but comes back when i release it again so do you or anyone know exactly what this is i also only hear it sometimes mostly at night actually when its heaps cold cheers guys im getting my first service tomoz i wouldnt mind going in there knowing exactly what it is so i can say hey this is whats happening now bloody fix it lol
