200Kw RAV 4

RAV4 and Kluger are about to get the Aurion engine. I've heard it twice now - once at the Adelaide motor show and once at a dealer.

I reckon a 200Kw RAV4 would be a fun drive. Maybe Toyota wont "engine manage" it so much since it has on demand 4WD...

Will the TRD have on demand 4WD?

In a straight line this sounds like a good idea, but add in some corners and I think there may be a few rolled Ravs, unless they do a little bit of lowering and fixing of suspension.

i would think that they might detune the engine.

And sorry Rav4 is not 1300kg its more like 1550 - 1600, much similar to an Aurion i would think

maybe its the older one that was 1300 i cant remember... yea i guess u'll need to do some SERIOUS suspension work for the twisty bits lol

correct D_ICE... yeah the older ones were pretty light but as all cars they just keep getting heavier each generation :(
