step 1 - buy a deep frier and lots of oil

step 2 - get a slicer that chips potatos

step 3 - make a batter using beer instead of water to add more air to make the give the batter a light crispy taste

step 4 - take 1 chip at a time and dip in the batter, shake off excess, then drop in hot oil

step 5 - cook for a couple of minutes

step 6 - turn out onto paper towel to absorb excess oil

step 7 - ENJOY :D

VB is very good for batter, but I like to use Cooper's Pale Ale :D

Haha, you can tell the South Australian Influence there...

I wonder if the batter would taste better using a European beer...

Stella Artois, Carlsberg, or Tetley's English Ale battered chips, anyone??
