Yow, anyone ever change any of the pulleys on the 2zzge. One of my pulleys have started to make noise and i was thinking to get the unorthodox ultra ss pulley set, which is an underdrive crank pulley, a alternator pulley and a water pump pulley. They say you have to use a different belt than stock, anyone has ever done this upgrade and can guide me here if it makes sence.

How do you know it is a pulley that is making noise? What is the noise like?

If you do it leave the stock crank pulley on. The aftermarket ones are undampened and that has been linked to a number of blown engines. Plus there is very little room to get a pulley puller in there to remove it. Rollamods might know of other ways to get it off though...

if you want more space support the sump with a trolley jack and block of wood and then unbolt the timing cover engine mount. Lower the engine down to give more access to the pulley.
