sportivo gearbox problem

i currently have an 05 sportivo with about 35000 kms on the clock

i've had this problem with my gearbox where in the morning on a cold start.

In the first 5 mins of driving if i want to shift back down to 2nd to take off again,

it feels as though there is alot of resistance in letting me put it back in.

i try to nudge it into first and still wont let me put it in (at less that 5km/h).

i have to come to a complete stop to put it into either 1st or 2nd gear

after it warms up everything is smooth

i was told that the 2005 sportivo's had the clutch problem fixed already?

could it be the clutch plate or otherwise?

hope to get something out of warranty for this

anyone else have this problem?

The gearbox needs to warm up too. Mine feels rough in the cold as well.

Try double clutching down the gears and see if it helps.

Yeah i have this problem on my sportivo when its cold as well..

Seems pretty normal.. Just treat it with care when its cold

get your cluthes adjusted and get some decent gearbox oil boys....

a) My clutch is old

b ) Gearbox oil is old

c) Double-clutching is a good skill

d) QLD Cold < ACT Cold :D

Just don't use those super slippery oils (eg. shockproof) as your synchros wont agree with them.
