The animation is this film is amazing, and no other Manga film to this day seems to have received as much praise as it on an international level. Total masterpiece of a film, irregardless of whether you're into Japanese animation or not. Recommend you watch it.

Btw we're all revheads here, so you might be appreciating that red bike. It's a conceptualised Honda 2wd superbike, run by ceramic rotor semiconductor units in the front and rear hubs (note the fact that Kaneda 'reverses' his motor bike to establish this fact). Make believe, but freaking unreal irregardless. Anyway enjoy.

PS: I probably should have mentioned this was in fact made in 1988. Yes...that's right. It's nearly a 20 year old film, and look at the quality.

Yeah he did it to 'pay homage' to the film apparently. It's debatable whether he used it just to make a cool looking video.
