Some Advice for the fuel pump visits

Hi all,

i got an email from my old man. forwarded this to me.

Here are some tricks to help you get your money's worth:

> 1. Fill up your car or truck in the morning when the temperature is still

> cool. Remember that all service stations have their storage tanks buried

> below ground; and the colder the ground, the denser the gasoline. When it

i dont know if its just bs but im sure some of it would be realistically real.

I was thinking about the temperature quotient recently, and figured that the sheer amount of energy required to heat the underground fuel tanks to make a significant temperature change of even 1 degree would have to be heee-yooge! The mean temperature of earth at that depth does not change much at all in all types of whether, similar to the ocean temp staying fairly similar through the seasons.

That all said, on a small scale, it is true.

Not too sure about carting around an extra 30 kgs all the time as opposed to some evaporation in the tank.

So for me I would not be running around with at least a half a tank. Also when you use your whole tank you can usually spread it out between fuel price drops.
