"Looks awesome, any other plans??"

I'm desperate for an aftermarket DVD/GPS unit (preferably OEM look) but just can't decide on which one and I don't want to spend too much either. Anyone got a great solution for me?

Looks great! How much did it cost you? What tyre did you get and what's the spec width, profile?

Did you have to do anything for your suspension? Also, how's the ride. Is it a lot harsher than on 17s?

Japanase made and all I can say is that they are absolutely awesome!!!

The wheels are distributed by ANZ Wheels (some of you may recognize them as they are a very popular wheel).

I haven't lowered the vehicle and I'm not sure if I will (yeah I know it would look even better but that front spoiler will take a hammering - not prepared to deal with that at the moment).

No point really telling you how much I paid for them as I work for the wholesaler/retailer who sell these particular wheels & tyres and I get them very cheap. But, if anyone's interested, I can get you a quote which I'm sure you will be pleasantly surprised at (we also sell them in 17, 18" and 20").

I'll have prices up for people on Monday 07/01/08, for these particular wheels & tyres (we have more other great styles but I'll concentrate on these first cause I think they are the best looking in the ANZ Wheels range - just my opinion of course). I think many of you will be surprised how cheaply you can make your Aurion look as good as this!

Congrats on the wheels, and yeah would be interested how much you paid for them and how much you can get them for us...

Also with the GPS/DVD combo, youd be looking at over 2k easy for a decent one, I would recommend save your money and just get them seperate, e.g. 400 dollar navman and something like $1200 double din screen

If anyone's interested in getting a quote for these particular wheels & tyres (or any others for that matter), please don't hesitate to contact the following sales person at The Tyre Factory (www.ttf.com.au - where I got my wheels & tyres from):

adam.santilli@tireworld.com.au

Please mention in your email that you are a member of Toyota Owners Club for a great discount and leaving your contact number would be beneficial so he can contact you regarding your location and which store is closest to you etc.

Believe me, I get nothing out of this, I'm only doing it because I want to let you guys know that you don't need to spend a fortune on wheels & tyres to make your car look fantastic! I have been getting so much positive feedback from this site and people on the streets about much better the car looks with these wheels (even looks better in the flesh!). Get a quote, you have nothing to lose!

"any stores/alliances in Townsville???? "

No stores up there but I'm sure something could easily be arranged (we have a warehouse with stock in QLD). PM me if you are interested and I'll work out something for you.

  • 1 month later...

OMG! I just purchased an Aurion ZR6 (in silver too!) and was looking around this forum to see what people have done to their car in terms of wheel upgrades. This is by far the best looking set of wheels I have seen on any Aurion Sportivo - I want them!!!

I've only had my car for a week now but the below average looking OEM wheels are depressing me and those skinny tyres are not helping matters either (just my opinion BTW - some people like the wheels - each to their own). I will definately be looking at getting some 18"s, or preferably 19"s (depending on price ;) soon. I will send an email to that guy at The Tyre Factory - hope he looks after me!

Thanks for the pics!!!

Go one up higher 20" :),

If you can be bothered try The Tyre experts up in fawkner, cheaper than TTF and willing to take your old wheels and tyres off you if you need to, though i suggest you keep them for 'in-case' scenarios.

On another note; On Wednesday / Thursday last week, at Crown Casino parking I saw a sweet Sportivo Aurion, in white, black 5?? spoke rims lowered, cambered at the back but not sure if it was naturally with the lowering, and had a white TRD throwover seat cover on the drivers seat, Is there anyone here who owns it?

No disrespect to The Tyre Experts whatsoever, but they won't do cheaper than TTF as TTF owns the ANZ Wheels company, meaning you won't find ANZ Wheels cheaper anywhere other than TTF. TTF accept trade-ins also, or why not try Ebay, I sold my Aurion ZR6 wheels on Ebay for $800.00 recently.

See my earlier post re: getting a quote.

Thanks guys

"Very nice indeed.

Please tell me though, does it make a big difference on how smooth the drive is, especially on the freeway?

Cheers"

Can't really compare it to the stock tyres as I drove straight from Brighton Toyota to The Tyre Factory in Sunshine, and drove the car like an old lady the whole way (you know what's it's like when you first drive a brand new car).

I do a lot of freeway driving and the Sumitomo's ride beatifully, they are very quiet and provide a very smooth ride and the beauty of it is, they are extremely affordable too.

Well if you after ANZ specifically yes they own ANZ and would be unbeatable on that price, as for others I was looking for Ive been quoted cheaper, and TTF at dandy couldnt match it, sunshine could be a different story. And yes selling to people directly or through ebay will give you better $ for the wheels.
