Have an 05 V6, drinks roughly 10L/100KM on probably 99% city driving. I've always used 95/98RON fuel ever since I got her tho, not that it makes too much difference to economy I guess.

:whistling: I flog the car once or twice a month just to give the engine a good run

I have a 1994 Ultima V6. I find the economy is about 13-15 L/100Km's. Not too bad, if I compare it to a Supra I once owned.

I would still like it to be better, she really seems to suck the juice when I push her up hills at more than 70 Km/h. I use the cruise control for going up Kalamunda hill at 80k's/hr and it drives like a car possessed! (I have found I really should set the button to 'power' mode instead of economy when doing this).

I think she needs a service, as there is a flat spot when accelerating. Funny the last owner told me it was recently serviced.

just something worth mentioning, never use cruise when going up hills, they cant judge how much to pump the throttle. if u bring some momentum up the hill ie do 95 instead of 80 up the hill, u will maintain a low rev (lets say 2-3000rpms) and stay in gear, rather than cruise it up the hill at a lower gear and going beyond 4-5000rpms.

my cruise control does that, and it just annoys the hell out of me cuz its pumpin too much fuel than it's required.
