no rear anti-sway for 07 corolla?

Toyota has deemed the rear suspension design strong enough not to require a rear anti-roll bar.

I say cost but they could argue given our rough roads, to maintain strong reliabilty, a simpler but more robust suspension setup is warranted.

Toyota Europe is releasing a new sports version Auris SR180 and it comes with double wishbone rear suspension. Funny enought they took out push engine start. Its rrp 17,995 pounds and it comes with lowering springs, rear spoiler, privacy glasses and various other sporty stuff.

would there be mounting points for an aftermarket one if it doesn't have a factory standard sway?

Might have no provision whatsoever to install a rear sway. Only way is to go underneath the car and take a look at both sides.

If there's no provision within the Torsion beam you would use the bottom strut bolts as your fixing point on either side.

It would look something like that attached. You could probably give Whiteline a call and see if they have anything for the new one yet.

nah, whiteline are flatout working on production for the new rexy.

Yes the stock one in the torsion beam with a second one outside. In the case of the new Corolla not having a provision within the the torsion beam for a sway bar, one can be mounted the same way the White one is. When Whiteline made swaybars for the Astra, this is how it was mounted.
