Hi all,

I m in doubt about the 6months/10,000km service

I took my car in for teh complimentary 5000km service on time, then the receipt said my next service due is 6months from the 3months which makes 9months from new to be the 10,000km service. Is that correct or they made a computer mistake??

Or should i just bring it in from 6months old?? reguardless the receipt said its due 3 months later?

Its either 6 months or 10,000k, so if your've reached 10,000k its time for the service. I think it might be a typo

6 months or 10,000km from the date it was delivered, whichever occurs first.

That's Toyota's recommendation only, and does not have to be adhered to timewise. If you do 10K in say, 10 months, then wait 'til you reach 10K. If you only do about 5K a year, then have an intermediate oil change done at 5K.

They will void warranty if you miss the scheduled services... trust me ....
