AE86 sprinter AUS version

hi guys whats news? im new round here :) and proud to be!

names josef, 20, from melb aus, just got hold of an original unmodified mind cond. ae86 sprinter, sadly aus version but yeh was cheap and fell in love with it.

just wanna get some info ive done a lot of research about 4ag engine types etc and was wondering which came stock with the jap model? same goes for brakes and suspension since aus model didnt come with the upgrades.

so i was hoping someone could give me some quotes and ideas on what might work best, best brands to look for in brakes, brake pads, suspension and springs brand, which lsd to get.

and about the 4ag series itself, which one can generate more power, mainly speed over torque, been thinking the 20v for size and sheer brute force for a theoretical drag etc (i wanna stay alive n prefer track runs to anything to do with speeding illegally) but been reading a 16v can put out just as much? so anyone able to help? refer me to a place that specialises in this sort of thing around melb? i have plenty more things to ask people about but one more, i read about 2 versions of the 16v, one with small heads other with larger? any significant difference etc?

any help appreciated im a bit new to cars, just played to much need for speed u kno :P

The Aus version sprinter is a real POS compared to the jap Levin.

Diff, brakes, interior, engine etc etc are all garbage on the Aus sprinter.

Takes a considerable amount of $$$ to get an aus delivered sprinter up to the same level as a stock JDM AE86. Here's a brochure and spec sheet of the jap AE86's for you to compare.
