i got a 1991 MR2. and my engine is losing power. i need a new engine in it. where can i get one and i trade in my old engine.

Get a rear cut of a high performance model SW20 from any import wrecker... You'll get gearbox and all the fruit to do a transplant

rebuild cost me more than the engine... becos the labour takes really long to rebuild..... anyone can help me"?

but they are not cheap at alll.. i think. becos i called them b4. trying to buy a 4age silver top. cost me 1800 with gearbox. and 2400 for black one...

That price isn't exactly expensive, in fact its pretty good. You do realise that cars are a bottomless pit that eat your money, right?

Cheapest option is still going to be the rebuild...if I was in your situation I'd just say "stuff it" and get the blacktop cause I was going to be spending money a rebuild anyways. Best bet get the black top, and get it rebuilt before you put it in so you can hedge your chances of the new motor blowing up on you. Also remmber there will be labour costs associated with installing the new motor.

i can rebuild the engine myself . i just dont have place and tools to do it myself. i am looking for a warehouse a garage of something to do it myself. that is the cheapest way . anybody can help me though?
