Toyota Killing Off Celica, MR-S, Supra!

Recommended Posts

In the latest edition of MOTOR it said Toyota is killing off its current sports car line-up, the mid-engined RWD MR-S, FF Celica and RWD Supra. They are coming out with a V8 Mid-engine RWD sports car priced around the 350Z range to take over the sports car line-up. It looks very alike the MR-S under black cover but Toyota said it is not based on the MR-S or Supra.

This is due to poor sales around the globe unfortunately and even the 2ZZ-Ge will go soon i guess since it powers the Celica and our Corolla Sportivo. That could be good for us then as the Corolla Sportivo will be a very limited edition Corolla :D Resale will probably be good!
