Buying 3rd hand 2010 Aurion Sportvio for $9000
Owner of a 2010 for 5 years. Bought with 48K on her, now at 165K. Only maintenance so far has been fluids, tyres and normal preventative maintenance. I intend to keep for another 100K at least. Most reliable and trouble free car I have ever owned. As long as the one you are looking at has been looked after with servicing history, you will be fine for five years in my opinion. Cheers, Rowie -

Aurion "wobble"
Interested in the outcome re. the wobble. I had a wobble recently and turned out I had RH CV inner boot that had leached out the grease (remaining grease was liquified). Replaced and wobble completely gone. Probably not your issue if you have replace both shafts. My 2010 has 165K on her so keen on any preventative maintenance etc. -

My new purchase 2010 V6
6 weeks ago I purchased this 2010 Rav4 V6. Am very impressed with it's performance, very quick indeed. Obviously with that kind of power comes the fuel consumption, but just feathering the accelerator it moves well enough. Have been doing some research and have found the 3.5 has a issue with Oil Cooler lines. Have noticed the top VVT line is a solid line, no rubber elbow. Can't see clearly underneath without taking the bottom cover plate off, it's been way to wet lately to do it. So hopefully the bottom 2 lines have been done too. This one has steel rims but I want to put alloys on it. Does anyonje know if 19' rims with a 245/55 tyre fit the car. -

Vehicle tool kit
Just got my first Hilux. 2000 4wd diesel. It's missing some of its tool kit, specifically the tool to lower the spare tyre. I have 2 pieces of the 3 piece lowering wrench, but not the end bit that locks into spare tyre mechanism under car. Could anyone recommend a reputable source to purchase a new one. I see them online but many look pretty dodgy, keen to get one I can rely on. Happy to just buy a whole new kit. I'm in the Coffs area, NSW. Thanks loads -

2006 KUN26R Starter
Try pulling the wheel off and pop the plastic clips holding flexi cover on, you might be able to get a better view in from the side One bolt on the top and one on the bottom Disconnect battery I get the top one from the gearbox side using a long extension and universal and bottom one is undone with a ratchet spanner (17mm) -

Check the air flow meter, sometimes causes idling issues if they are dirty Can just clean by removing and spraying a bit of brake clean in there -

HiAce Diesel 2KD 2006- Rough idle (particularly when cold)
Yer injectors can cause those symptoms Easy to check injectors by using a scan tool, Check injector feedback values to determine if they are in need of replacement Most mechanics should be able to do this You could try some injector cleaner in your fuel tank it can sometimes help -

Prado 120 fuel tank sender electrical discomnection
Tony, I have no knowledge of Prados, but from your photo, it looks like a similar setup to the LC 200. I recollect that the electrical connector is removed by pressing the tab at the top-side of the connector (as shown in photo) towards the body of the connector and lifting it out. I'm pretty sure I did it with only my fingers. In the LC200, there was no fuel filter in this assembly. There could have been a strainer in the bottom of the assembly. I suspect it is the lift pump which sucks fuel from the tank to the engine which has failed in your case. On the LC200 that pump is on the engine somewhere. I never got to it. Kind regards Geoff -

FUEL WARNING MESSAGE
Geoff, I have a fuel blockage in my Prado. Both tanks are full but no fuel flows to the Injector pump. Is there a filter or strainer in the main fuel tank: How does the electrical connector for the Fuel sender assembly disconnect? I have posted this tonight - - - -
