G,day

Fuel gauge not working, showing empty and fuel light on but tank full.

Anyone else had same problem or is there a common fault.

Thanks.

That aint good.

If its been happening for a while I would get that looked at. Im not familiar of any tricks you can do to try and reset the gauge?

This may be because the fuel tank has been hit by something...

Happened to me once and it stayed on the last line.. but when petrol hit that mark the needle would go down.

Got it checked out at a service at Toyota, told me there was nothing wrong with the sensors, but I had a large dent in the fuel tank.

No major problems.. yet.. and the gauge is now working fine.
