Dash Design

Recommended Posts

Has anyone had any experience with them, or know of anyone who has?

I am seriously considering getting a 2D overlay for the console in the carbon fibre weave (see below) for my 05 V6 Sportivo as the gunmetal grey is a tad on the boring side, and the carbon weave would go well with the alcantara seats with the white stitching to remind me I'm in a Sportivo and not a van :P

The overlay covers all plastic parts such as door inserts, compartment lids, central console, cigarette lighter, air vents, etc.

I have been quoted $345 includeing freight for the patterned template (or about $1000 to have all the trim reprocessed three dimensionally) but is it a bitch to put on?

Cheers!

I purchased my woodgrain for the camry from dash design. id have to say, well worth it.

did you get the 2d overlay or have it reprocessed in 3d?

i seriously dont know.. i bought them off a buy from ebay months ago. bidding started from $49.95. placed a bid (i didn't want to win the auction and guess what?! yeah I won LOL).

what's the different between the two?

i'm pretty sure you'd have the 2d overlay. the 2d is just kinda like a sticker that goes over the dash, whereas the 3d processing you actually have to remove your trim and send it off to be remade as a certain pattern kinda thing.
