Not Sure About Trustin The Car Manual....???

Recommended Posts

Well, today I went to repco to purchase Narva Artic Blue bulbs for my headlights and foglights. Armed with the details from my car manual I confidently purchased all the bulbs I needed. B)

Got home and pulled out the foglight bulbs....the manual says H3.....the bulb in the fog is HB4 :o

So yep...I trust my manual <_<

Am I the 1st to have discovered this or is my manual a dud...??..LOL

i doubt your manual is a dud, as they're mass printed.

i just checked my manual out of curiosity, and it says hb4, as are the bulbs in my car

you sure you cross-referenced the bulb type chart correctly?

i think your manual must be a dud :P

i had an 03 acv36 sportivo that i had the arctic blue globes in, and the manual for that said hb4 globes for the foggies. now ive got the 05 mcv36 upgrade sportivo and its the exact same globes stated in the manual....interesting that yours is different

Well alls good cause they exchanged the bulbs for me and i just LOVE the artic blue :D

Be interestin to see if anyone else finds the same boo boo in their manual.......

why dont you just remove your bulb to find the size on it instead? i find that way more easier + perfect sizing

I'll be doing just that for any parts from now on....pull it off and look :P

I'm more of a person who goes and pulls it off the car, rather than going through millions of pages and finding the correct part :P

Sounds like fun mate. Spose you can "advise" the local Yota shop
