1988 MR2 Supercharged

Hi,

I was looking into the 1988 MR2 Supercharged model and have a few questions. What are they like?

Do they go better than the GTi Turbo models?

Is the interior better?

Is the gearbox better?

Is the suppension better?

How much work is it to fit a 90's Celia GT engine it a 1988 MR2 and will the 1.6litre Supercharger fit onto the 90's Celia GT engine (which I think is a 2.2 or 2.4 litre engine.)?

Thx

VJ

The mk1 SC is a great car, they are about as quick round a track as a mk2 turbo (stock).

The SC can be tweaked to about 220bhp, which is plenty for a car so small.

The Gen 6 Celica ('94+) is a 2.0 engine (3s-ge) and will fit, but as they are only ~160bhp there really is no point.

And if you want a celica with a 1.6 SC, have a look for a Levin as they have the same SC'ed engine and are the same size as the celica ..
