Should I pay to have a service on my car or I should do it myself? And when will I need a tune up? Im on 89000KM.

Things that a service will do that was told by my friend.

Oil

Spark plugs

Oil filter

Transmission fluid

Check breakes

Coolant every 1 - 2years

I got no powerstering so i don need to change powerstering fluid.

If I didn't miss anything then I should be do service on my own. Can save a few hundred on other parts.

Thanks.

Don't listen to your friend anymore lol...

Your 90,000km service is a straight forward oil and oil filter change...

Read through your service book, check the service schedule and you'll find everything you need to know...

Your spark plugs are due to be changed every 40,000kms...

Your Auto Transmission Fluid never needs to be changed...

Check and adjust brakes as necessary...

Change your Brake Fluid every 24 months regardless of kms travelled...

Coolant is due to be replaced at 160,000kms and not before that... After the first flush, replace the coolant every 80,000kms with Toyota Super Long Life Coolant only...

You do have power steering, it's electric and doesn't use fluid...

Read your manuals and you'll know whats gotta be done...
