Wheels/Tyres for Kluger 2007 model

Hi There,

I was looking around for a new set of tyres for my Kluger (plated 2007), and I was pretty disappointed with the limited options available ...

I was thinking about changing the alloys to say 17 or 18 inch so I can get access to a wider range of tyres (say a 245/55/R17 or 18) but the tyre shop (a big one that specialises in alloys) told me I can't get bigger alloys as they'll interfere with the suspension struts ....

Does anyone have any experience/thoughts about this problem?

My last ditch option is to go with the Bridgestone D683's. Anyone have any thoughts on these tyres?

Thanks in advance,

Cheers
