07 Corolla exhaust note

Is anyone fairly happy with the stock exhaust note of their new shape Corolla?

Coming from a skyline I thought that my Corolla would sound ***** weak but when I put my foot down it actually comes up with some decent sound... enough to turn many people's heads even. It sounds more like a beefy v6 in full flight unlike a weak 4 cyl.

lol you are right. the engine sounds tough, the exhaust is not :)

Then again I hate the farting sounds stock NA 4 cylinders make with a canon zorst (lancers, excels and mirages etc).

What mods you got on your car so far?

I just bought a HID kit...

Soon want to do a tint, alarm and maybe if money allows, some nice 17 inch wheels.

You know the section of exhaust at the end is actually a resonator. That's not a muffler.

So yes, they did remove the resonator. They also removed the stock muffler which was towards the middle of the car.

You know the section of exhaust at the end is actually a resonator. That's not a muffler.

So yes, they did remove the resonator. They also removed the stock muffler which was towards the middle of the car.

did they add anything or jsut replaced them with straight pipe?
