The search function is at the top right hand corner of the screen  ;)

The search box in the bottom left hand corner searches in individual threads only ;)

THIS WE ALREADY KNOW.

After reading the same posts again and again, new ones being created, while old ones exist with the same topic, the current search functions and locations are not adequate.

Can you please investigate an "Improve the Search Function."

define "Improve".

the existing search allows you to search for words in a standard search engine manner. you can include and exclude phrases as you wish.

you can search in specific forums, for posts by specific users, within specific date ranges.

it searches in the titles and the body of threads.

the database supports full text indexing, and this is only a small database - so the search results will be pretty quick.

what else do you want it to do?

the issue with people reposting old subjects is that they do not use the search in the first place.

And that is not a problem with the search engine ;)
