TOCAU taking 2 minutes to load a page

I know it's not car related, but it's shttn me how long it takes to read tocau pages, particulalry the ones with juicy pictures.

I have optus cable, 20mbps, is that any good? I thought it was, but running only at 12mbps most of the time

It runs through a motorola connected modem.

Any help on how I can speed things up would be most appreciated. I may have to talk to Optus about uprgrade speed. I don't download anymore than 1gig a month, I just want to view my tocau and not sit here venting frustration every time i get the white screen of death.

thanks

im not sure if others get the same problem, but i assume they have experienced the same thing

this is when people with 2mb pic of thier car should really scale it down, ignoring the fact that internet is getting faster and faster but when you compare a 200kb page and a 2000kb page in terms of loading speed you will feel the pinch,

try to upload photos that are forum happy... 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768 maybe.. that will help reduce loading time.
