Injectors

Hi Guys,

I was told that the fuel injectors on a sportivo (2ZZ-GE engine) is a straight swap to those on the 1ZZE-FE engine(which is the one on my conquest). I was wondering whether you guys would recommend that? Also, the guy, who is trying to sell them to me is asking for $150 what do you think? worth it or not?

Only worth going to a larger injector if you are pushing the duty cycle of your current injectors.

Not enough said in your post. Unless you are SC/TC, I'd doubt you even need it.

Well i have no plans of getting SC/TC in my car. I just got the Greddy E-manage piggyback for now (because i cannot affore the apexi power fc :( )and need to get the car tune accordingly as well. But before getting it tune, i was curious to know whether it would be good to get those injectors?

As whitestivo said. There is no advantage in getting larger injectors if you are not maxing what you currently have. Without some serious mods on a 1zz I doubt they will max out NA.

Yup that is true. If your staying N/A, injectors should be the last thing on your mind.

will 2zz injectors work on 1nz-fe also?
