Ive heard smoking out the headlights lights is illegal.

but have a look at this video, the light passes through exactly the same compared to the light with no vinyl on it......

Ive ordered a sample kit for the carbon fiber vinyl also..

i might smoke headlights and rear lights and see if it brings any attention... worst thing that can happen is i can take one off and show them how the light passes through the exact same..

Worst thing that can happen is they'll defect you. Make you undo the crapola that you have done did and then take it over the pits and start at square one.

I have had my tail lights tinted for a couple of months without any attention, depends really how dark you go.

Would never recommend for headlights.

You could 'prove' to them how x amount of light passes through, until your blue in the face, but the law is there for a reason....
