I noticed that by having the throttle cable underneath the front strut brace, the accelerator pedal is not as responsive.

Could it be because the strut brace is pressing against the throttle cable and causing resistance of some sort ?

I know on an old exercise bike that I have where a cable is used to adjust tension in the flywheel, that by making ever so slight re-positioning of the cable it would either give me heaps of tension or less.

Anyone else notice the difference or is it placebo playing with me ?

I always run it over the top of the brace. Adjust the spring mount on the fire wall so that it holds the cable over the top of the brace.
