i have lots of scratches that have been caused by rubbing an abrasive towel over it. (dont ask)

i want to get rid of it as soon as possible because like everyone, i dont like scratches. it looks totally normal at night but when the sun shines on it, it is very evident that its heavily scratched.

what should i do ?

whats claying etc...

who can do this job for me ?

thanks.

Hi mate,

to get rid of swirls and scratches you will need to have the car machine polished. If the car is really as bad as you describe then a multiple stage polsih will be needed. (Maybe 2-3 stages)

Claying is used to remove surface contaminants like industrial fall out, iron filings, tree sap etc to return the paint surface to a nice smooth finish. This is done before a machine polish so the surface contaminamts dont get imbedded into the polishing pads and cause more damage to the paint.

let me know where abouts are you in sydney? Maybe I can drop by and take a look sometime and give you an idea of what will be involved.

Cheers :)

Dave

Im in the Pennat Hills area but the business is mobile so I pretty much work Sydney wide.

How much would it cost for someone to come out and do it at my house or work during the day. I was thinking of getting the whole car done (2-3 layer thing-a-ma-jigi lol.)

Either in greystanes or penrith
