Hey guys,

I know this may seem like a dumb question, but I thought I should ask it anyway.

When I first start the engine, both the oil pressure and oil level lights in the dash will come on.. but will then turn off one or two seconds afterwards. Is this normal? Daz told me that it's just the stivo doing a systems check. The lights don't come on at all during driving or idling... so I'm inclined to think it is just a routine check. Just want to make sure though.

Cheers.

Most, if not all modern or semi-modern cars do this, it's completely normal.
