My 1994 seca RV hatchback boot lid is causing my wife problems, she finds it hard to lift When you lift it it seems to be held back by the telescopic dampers which hold it up. Ive oiled the hinges but it dident help Ony Ideas Thanks

mate ive got a 96 seca. I had the same issue too. you'll need to replace them. Keep in mind the boot on these hatches are bloody heavy. So its a common issue on these rollaz.

Probably best go to autobarn for a new pair.

hope that helps ;)

I think their called gas struts or dampers. They are the two long black bars that keep the boot lid up on each end.

Probably just go to autobarn for a new pair.
