No messages?

there is no messages button on the top right of my screen, i cant access messages anywhere else and when i go to send a PM a the board message comes up and says i cant do it. ive tryed loging off and still doesnt work, turned my comp off and loged back onto the site again but still no...whats the go? or can someone try send me a PM
