just wondering about the meguiars da polishing machine is it easy to use just want to get some ideas be4 purchasing it.

Is that the G220 your talking about? If so, yes it is very easy to use and it wont have to worry about burning the paint as it is a random orbital and doesnt generate heat like what a rotary does.

Make sure you get the version 2 as the orignal one had issues with the power tripping out.

I went down to BUNNINGS today.. and they had a random orbital polisher for sale...

Ozito Buffer Polisher - $44

pretty cheap when compared to the other ones they had priced at $140+,

and its got 3 years replacement warranty =]

haven't used it yet... not sure what polish to use + if i need to use scratchX for the bird stains...

Guess i'll go research now...

while we're on the G220, has anyone here tried using the G220 with non meguiar pads?? ive currently got 2 w8006 and 2 w9000 pads but have seen these "waffle" design pads for sale at the local repco stores... thoughts?

im happy as larry with my meguiar pads but was wanting to know if people have had better results with differernt brands??
