17" front 18" rear rims

Recommended Posts

Hey

I'm wondering if anyone has 17" front and 18" rear wheels on their corolla??

i want to know how it looks cos i'm planning to buy a set of CR-KAI work wheels soon for mine in the next few weeks.

if it doesnt look good i'll be getting 18" all round

cheers for any help

I don't think that will look good, but what you might consider is getting 225/40/18 rear and 225/35/18 front

wont the diameter of the tyres be different  ??

mm i dont like the look of 35 profiles with 18" rims

225/40/18 is what i'm planning for front and rear if i get 18" all round

reason i want to know is cos i'v seen a few cars that have this kind of set up and i reckon it looks alright. but never seen it done to a corolla so yeah.

im guessing maybe, its on big commodores and high powered cars so, the rears have bigger tyres for more traction? and the fronts are a tad smaller for better turning?

just an assumption!

Dont think its a good idea, you can do staggered fitment which is same diameter rims but the rears are wider, some new rims today come in staggered sizes even for FWD cars.

The 17" front and 18" rears only really suit sedans in my opinion and RWD :)
