Hi guys,

I have a 03 toyota hilux dual cab rwd and the speaker bay is soooo small on them....i cannot fit anything inside the door well due to the depth of it....

i want to keep the door trims factory so i cannot build door pods and use them etc...so is there any way of getting a nice set of dd splits for front to jam in there

or dont i have a chance in hell as one of the speakers is blown when we purchased the car and the other is just poor quality...

cheers,

Adam

Hey Adam...ya can try the Focal Polyglass VR Slim range.

100 VRS mounting depth 39.5mm or 1 19/16'' 80watts max power 40watts RMS

130 VRS mounting depth 48.5mm or 1 15/16'' 100watts max power 50watts RMS

165 VRS mounting depth 56.0mm or 2 3/16'' 120watts max power 60wwatt RMS

they also do a range of small under/behind seat subs...don't know what there like?

theres a few shallow depth speakers brands on the market, the trick is to workout exactly how much room ya have to play with, then ya can choose the ones ya want,i went through this with my Aurion. B)

Good Luck.
