I am thinking of buying a Kluger KX-R

putting 19" rims on it and lowering it

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to lower a kluger ?

and would it be expensive

its just going to be a short trip runabout car so we are purely going for looks!!!!!

Has anyone bought one in the last couple of weeks and ,Im putting it thru the business so I'm guessing i should be paying .............? for this model in black..... your input on price would be greatly appreciated .

first time post from a wannabe Kluger owner

Get your 19's fitted and measure the car to see how much lower you want to go...

Contact KMac and get some springs custom made and you'll be loving life...

KMac produce all their springs custom to suit your wants and needs for the same price you get off the shelf kits for so it's a much better deal...

Hey Freddie, i've got a KX-S and its due for tyres so we're putting 20s on but I wanna drop it hard like 5-6 inches if possible, not sure if i can with coils dont want airbags. Its not an American SUV lol.. Do you know how much the springs you've been quoted for will lower it??

Like I said, KMAC will custom make the springs to suit your car for the above price...

Get your wheels fitted, drive it for a week... Go to KMAC and get them to measure up and see where you want it to sit... They'll make the springs to suit your wants and needs and then get them fitted for you :) ...

Let the car settle on the new wheels so you know exactly how much you wanna drop it...

Never really looked at lowered suspension on the Klugers so don't really know... But I'd say drop it till the tyres are basically in line with the guards, will look perfect :) ...

Hi All,

I know this thread is ancient, but relevant to my thoughts right now...

I have a KX-R AWD with 20's and want to lower it. Problem is, I'm in Melbourne so I can't visit KMAC as suggested :(

Is there anywhere in Melbourne I can go? I emailed King Springs and this was their response...

Hello,

Unfortunately we cannot assist with your request for Lowered coils, this is

due to suspension geometry & travel limitations, as the coil will fall out

at full suspension droop.

Any help is appreciated :)
