Corolla Seca Conquest AE102R Tail-lights

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

Corolla Seca Conquest AE102R Tail-lights, Where to get some around Gosford/Erina?

Just wondering, i've been looking at ebay and the like, modyourcar.com.au, and ssv.com.au, but i need somewhere nearby that could sell custom rear taillights for my car. Any thoughts? and where is the cheapest quality?

Thanks heaps,

MetalGod

Yeah.. So you reckon the wreckers have custom lights? ... I've been checkin on ebay and that and found a few... but I think they're for the AE102R sedan... I have a hatch. lol. Here's a link to one of many that i've been looking at>

Link: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...em=360144834285

If anyone has a solid understand whether there is a difference between the sedan and hatch lights, please let me know. As I have the money, but I don't wanna buy something that isn't gonna fit. Thanks guys.

Again, my car>

Model: AE102R

Thanks guys,

I missed where it said "custom"

And yes, the sedan tail-lights are 100% different to the Seca tail-lights.

Which year model metal?

It's a Toyota Corolla Seca Conquest AE102R 1999 ... Its not the New one they made that year.. it's the one they started making in 1996 or something..

Here, i've looked it up on www.redbook.com.au .. here's the link: http://www.redbook.com.au/used-cars/detail...2&silo=1300

Thanks heaps for your help =)

Being the conquest your car should have the coloured tailgate garnish which in my opinion would look like poo if you had clear lights...

Check out twincam.org, there's a guy in South Africa that specialises in clear lights that might be able to help you out...

Search the twincam forum and you will find him, don't have a link sorry...

Yeah, the reflector panel is what I'm talking about... Wouldn't look right unless that whole rear section was all clear lights...

Seen the clear-lights on the sedan, they look crap, especially the ones that replace the centre garnish (what I call the reflector panel) too. Best bet if you're going clear/Altezza tail-lights is to paint the centre garnish the same colour as the body, or get a hatch without the garnish (ie Series 1).

I am yet to see an AE10x Seca without that centre garnish faded to all hell, either - they do it without fail. For some reason the sedan garnishes don't seem to do it at all though, no idea why

Mate

According to the picture you posted of your car it seems to me like its a variant of the AE101 hatchabck and unfortunately to my knowledge i have never seen any aftermarket tail-lights for your car.Maybe there are some floating around Japan ?

Regards.. :)

Hummmm... thanks for the input guys. It seems there is none.. everywhere I've looked... And yes.. the centre panel does fade.. I was thinking of going down to the wreckers and getting a newish looking one.. but still, it would be nice to have those tail-lights.. if anyone comes across any, please let me know =)

Anyways.. thanks guys. Keep throwing in your suggestions and where some might be, links would be great =) I'm going to start a new topic about headlights for my car.. I think they should be easier to come by as I think all of the corollas from 94 to 99 have the same headlights.
