Hey Guys,

Got a quick question that could help in deciding whether or not to buy a Corolla Sportivo im currently looking at.

I have noticed that this is the only sportivo i have ever seen with a chrome Sportivo Badge not a sticker????

Why would this be?

Possibly an aftermarket badge... used after an accident or the owner changed it for personal taste

Or is the month the car was built a factor...

By the way if this helps it is a Black 2005 Facelift Corolla Sportivo.

I'm pretty sure that '05 Sportivo's came with the thin red Sportivo badge on both sides and the rear hatch. '03 Sportivo's came with the chrome Sportivo badge on both side skirts and no badge on the rear hatch. So the owner has possibly changed the badge to the '03 types. They are most likely genuine badges, as I have not noticed aftermarket 'Sportivo' badges.

i replaced my chrome badges with Black ones from Toyota, so they are easily purchased.

could just have been the previous owner prefferred the Chrome looking ones over the Red/Grey thinner style.
